It's finally happening! Warhammer 40K: Darktide has received a release date today for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, with the game officially set to arrive as part of Xbox Game Pass on October 4th, 2023.
As you may recall, Darktide was originally supposed to arrive on console back in 2021, but was delayed on numerous occasions. It's been part of PC Game Pass since November of last year, and now it's finally getting an Xbox release!
We'll throw some more details about the game below, and you can watch the new trailer above.
"Take back the city of Tertium from hordes of bloodthirsty foes in this intense and brutal action shooter. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is the new co-op focused experience from the award-winning team behind the Vermintide series. As Tertium falls, Rejects Will Rise."

Jesus, finally. Been waiting for this. Hopefully it’s a decent polished version now when it does eventually hit
Is this worth playing? Anybody tried it on PC? Heard it looks gorgeous but there isn't much of a hook to the game...
@BRT15 Play Vermintide and you'll know what it is.
Pretty much Left4Dead set in the Warhammer universe.
Looks really good, Looking forward to it..
@BRT15 @Bleachedsmiles It's a little bare bones. I have a level 30 sharpshooter and the other 3 I think are still in the 20s. If you have friends to play with then I think it's enjoyable. By yourself the gameplay can get stale and equipment leveling isn't really important.
Playing with a random group isn't bad but expect to pull ever daemonhost under the sun. Even at higher difficulties people struggle with that mechanic. All in all I would recommend giving it a go.
This should be good.
