We've been waiting years for Warhammer 40K: Darktide to finally arrive on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and it's finally now here! The Xbox console exclusive dropped onto Xbox Game Pass a few hours ago.
If you feel like you've heard this story before, that's because Darktide actually arrived on PC Game Pass all the way back in November of last year, and although it received a mixed reception at launch, it's since received a bunch of meaningful patches that have improved the game compared to its original PC release.

Had this pre-ordered and it arrived today, looking forward to getting on it later
its better than i thought it would be. but why am i always running out of ammo?
Promised 60 FPS on Series S, getting 30 even after a year of delay. Its a pass from me, can't be bothered to download it even from gamepass
@Vepra Sounds like u should consider investing in an X.
@NeutronBomb Don't really feel the need now as Im not really missing out on anything that I would really want. With Darktide, nothing of value was lost. I'm more into age of sigmar myself but still, the game has been a poo-show since launch and most of its players base is already burned out. We also know Darktide is poorly optimised on PC aswell so its not the S fault, as it rarely is and its more about the devs. This is especially strange considering that S made over 70% of revenue, so its the more widespread one. Given Darktide isn't on PS and no word wheter it ever will, they esentialy made the product worse by not keeping promises for over 70% of their console market
@Vepra the fact the lied is the annoying thing not thats it 30fps there's no excuses the series s cant do 60 fps on every game
@Dan1283 Yeah but them lying isnt really surprising. The game was supposed to be day 1 on GP both PC and Xbox, they didn'r really notify us about the delay untill the launch day or like a day before too. No date was given after that and today I was just randomly surprised by a phone notification that its out
It's a pass. Kind of not my thing.
The prologue was fun. FPS on Series S did not limit my enjoyment. We'll see how it holds up in further missions. WIth Gotham Knights, Lamplighters League and Starfield, this is a bit low on the priority list of playing for me right now.
Played this last night with the guys and had a blast. It was a little more tough than expected, but that's not a bad thing. Looking forward to putting more time into it. I'm playing on PC with maxed out settings, and it is just gorgeous to behold on top of being very fun to play.
Ive been looking forward to giving this a try. Yet another title on the 'to play' list! I cant resist downloading it and have a quick run....
This is a legit great game. Really took me by surprise with how much fun it is. Also looks great and servers have been very smooth.
Taking that extra time to iron everything out on PC before the Xbox launch paid off!
