It's finally almost time for Warhammer 40K: Darktide on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S! The console version launches on Xbox Game Pass in just a few short hours, and that launch coincides with the game's "biggest update yet".
Warhammer 40K: Darktide "Patch #13" is an update that brings a class overhaul to the game, serving as a "complete reinvention of the class and feat systems, introducing talent trees and a plethora of new abilities".
Here's a bit more about what to expect from this new Darktide update (also available on PC):

"The Class Overhaul update grants each Archetypes (Veteran, Zealot, Psyker, Ogryn) emerging trees, providing clear and easily identifiable options, portrayed by a branching end of the trees all the while giving a tinkering space where less obvious combinations of choices create their own build packages."
Patch #13 - Class Overhaul will be included from the outset in the Xbox Series X|S release, which technically occurs on October 4th but actually begins later today in quite a few countries. We've outlined all the key info about this in our Warhammer 40K: Darktide release times guide elsewhere on Pure Xbox.
The wait is finally almost over - in the meantime, don't forget to check out the brand-new trailer above!

Can't overstate how excited I am for this.
Vermintide but 40K? Yes please.
Is this a single player? I’m not a big fan of coop….
@AlwaysPlaying It can be played single. But it is coop at heart. It is Vermintide 40K.
@InterceptorAlpha same man hope it's easy enough to get into.
Always a bit daunting the whole warhammer/40k stuff
is it 60 fps on x/s?
It's 60 on series x and 30 fps on series s apparently which the developers lied about because they said it was 60 on series s as well who the heck want to play this at 30fps
@InterceptorAlpha well, just like darktide it will take years for it to be actually playabale. All my pc friends are already burned out and dont want to jump back in. Plus promised 60 FPS on the S but apperantly it runs on 30 only so yeah, fatshark is gonna fatshark
