One of the highlights of Xbox's latest 'Partner Preview' event was another look at Ark: Survival Ascended, and according to Studio Wildcard it's coming to Xbox this November.
As previously highlighted, this title has been remade ground up in Unreal Engine 5 and now features improved lighting, high-detail assets, a physics destruction system that simulates complex large-scale destruction, instanced based-rendering and fluid and foliage systems.
Perhaps the most exciting feature of this new reimagined version is the cross-platform modding. Studio Wildcard is also "working closely" with game studios and developers to bring original content and IP to Survival Ascended. The old game also had "around 30,000 mods available" and the team is confident this number will only get larger.

Can't wait to play it in all it's glory at 10fps... UE5 can't save you from bad animation either. <.<
I'm just salty because I've always liked the look of this game's maps but, I've never had a machine that can run it well and I don't think that's gonna change being an S user. Game still seems janky as ever though.
@InheritNegative the animation got me too, if you're going to put all that effort in to the graphics, demand a premium price whilst gutting the original, maybe rework the animation a little.
Meh. Just a cash grab for people to spend money on before Ark 2 drops.
I'll wait ist for the latter.
I mean it will one day be on Gamepass and it does look gorgeous. The animations just need uodating
Not something I would play but those graphics look really nice.
I thought this was Ark 2 and they renamed it. What a naming mess.
November? It didn't look ready for lunch, but it's Ark so it will never be.
If you bought their original mess of a game do you get this one? Can't say I feel comfortable buying anything from them.
