Alan Wake 2 closed out this year's Gamescom Opening Night Live event, and the team at Remedy Entertainment delivered another unique look at this highly-anticipated survival horror sequel.
The new trailer is viewable up above, and within the developer has showcased its new 'seamless' integration of live action and gameplay in Alan Wake 2. Basically, think Quantum Break's mix of game and TV series but all fused together in tight-knit harmony. That sounds quite the experience if Remedy can make it work!

Given the team's history, we have absolutely no doubt that Alan Wake 2 will deliver, and it's looking as cinematic as ever for a Remedy title. The long awaited sequel to Alan Wake launches on Xbox Series X and S on October 27th.

Looks great! Can't wait for October 27th.
As good as it looks, I’ll be skipping this one. No physical release, no purchase from me.
Oh I absolutely love Remedy for doing stuff like this. Getting really hyped for this...
Some things in live action work and keeping the gameplay moments to the game. Makes sense. Also Quantum Break vibes there just without the tv show part. Also cinematic games.................................................................................. Yep.
Didn’t qb get critically panned for the live action parts? I wonder if this gets the same treatment
Would buy it Day 1; but I am among those refusing to buy any game that doesn’t have a physical release. (Not because I only buy games in physical form - I have plenty of digital-only games - but because I believe I should have a choice.)
I think Remedy REALLY want to make a 90's style FMV game, and I think that they should just let them so they can get it out of their system.
