During this week's Forza Monthly livestream, developer Turn 10 Studios took some time to showcase another look at the upcoming Forza Motorsport, providing some interesting comparisons to the team's previous release - Forza Motorsport 7.
In the video clip up above, Forza Motorsport creative director Chris Esaki goes over a couple of the new game's big improvements, including changes to its AI and tyre physics systems. In addition, the comparison provides a good look at how the audiovisual experience has evolved, and we're quite impressed.

The visuals, in particular the lighting, have improved massively on FM7 - the game looks so much more natural in motion than 2017's Xbox One release. The engine audio coming from the showcased BAC Mono sounds much better in this year's game too; there've clearly been some huge strides made in the overall technical makeup of Forza Motorsport.
If you'd like to see more of what was shown off during yesterday's livestream, the full Forza Monthly video is up on YouTube, featuring the above clip in better quality alongside some other looks at the new Forza game - including a brief introduction to how the title will play using a racing wheel.
What do you think to the new gameplay shown off here? Let us know if you're impressed down in the comments section!

The extra time between FM7 and the new game seems to have been well spent.
So do you need to be connected to the internet to play this OR do you have to have Xbox Live subscription service to play this?
Looks brilliant. Really looking forward to this!
Visually looks much more real, whereas FM7 looked more like a game. That said FM7 is still a real looker even 6 years on.
Though the really interesting thing in this video is the difference in the simulation and physics modelling and how that will affect the driving to make it more realistic.
I might just have a bad eye or maybe because I'm using my phone, but I can't tell the difference.
Should hope it looks and plays better, it’s on a current gen system and not 6years old!
I’d have been worried if it wasn’t an improvement on these things! As it’s been a while since gt7 I need a new track racer. I really hope it doesn’t throw cars at me like horizon, I want to feel the progression
It does look amazing with huge difference in lighting among other things. Still, this made me want to play FM7.
This game looks amazing that's all I have say about I like turn 10 studios they are an amazing developer
This will be awesome with the 4080. Gave away the Xbox and built a PC after the embarrassing 30fps announcement of Starfield. The graphical difference is magnificent, will never go back to the low end hardware.
@Joabra01Swe Console will always be behind PC in that respect. Comes down to affordability and convenience with console. Former especially. Lots cant afford a gaming PC sadly.
Looking forward to this. Like a previous comment been a while since GT be cool to check out another sim racer.
@sixrings I think you just need to be connected to the internet in order to play the game, but in order to participate in any of the multiplayer features you will need a subscription.
Looks like Forza Motorsport is getting the Halo Infinite treatment not releasing the full game at launch trickling in features. I really am trying to come up with a reason to keep Game Pass but they keep giving me more reasons to let it lapse.
