During this week's Forza Monthly livestream, developer Turn 10 Studios took some time to showcase another look at the upcoming Forza Motorsport, providing some interesting comparisons to the team's previous release - Forza Motorsport 7.
In the video clip up above, Forza Motorsport creative director Chris Esaki goes over a couple of the new game's big improvements, including changes to its AI and tyre physics systems. In addition, the comparison provides a good look at how the audiovisual experience has evolved, and we're quite impressed.
The visuals, in particular the lighting, have improved massively on FM7 - the game looks so much more natural in motion than 2017's Xbox One release. The engine audio coming from the showcased BAC Mono sounds much better in this year's game too; there've clearly been some huge strides made in the overall technical makeup of Forza Motorsport.
If you'd like to see more of what was shown off during yesterday's livestream, the full Forza Monthly video is up on YouTube, featuring the above clip in better quality alongside some other looks at the new Forza game - including a brief introduction to how the title will play using a racing wheel.
