The time has finally come! Arguably July's biggest Xbox Game Pass addition has arrived in the form of Exoprimal - a brand-new chaotic co-op shooter from veteran developer Capcom.
We'll drop all the details on this new Game Pass title down below, including our very own video introducing players to the world of Exoprimal.
Exoprimal (Console, PC, Cloud)
"Exoprimal is an online, team-based action game that pits humanity's cutting-edge exosuit technology against history's most ferocious beasts – dinosaurs. Exosuits are grouped into different roles, and players will pilot these exosuits to hold firm against overwhelming dinosaur swarms in online-only, team-based action game modes."

I've downloaded and played one match so far can see me playing this for a few hours then I'll get bored there doesn't seem to be much content and it feels like a free to play game.
No interest to me at all I hope I wish company's would release single player games not multiplayer games especially games like this no thanks anything live service really isn't great
@Rangers420 I haven’t tried it myself yet but I have seen that when you get to level 10 the game opens up and more maps unlock. For some weird reason?
@K1LLEGAL they've been doing this in video games for about 20 years or so. Welcome!
@Dan1283
I'd be totally fine with a multiplayer if it was a proper sequel to Lost Planet 2. Instead of that trash they gave us called Lost Planet 3.
I bet that you have to invest a little more time. The fact that the game opens up slowly is a good sign, in my opinion.
@Cashews thanks. I don’t know much about the game so I don’t know if it makes sense for this kind of game or not. Halo or Gears for instance, the maps etc are all there in rotation from the start. I was just passing on info!
Was really looking forward to this game, enough that I logged in a few minutes after launch. It forces you to go through web forms to create a Capcom ID. After the Capcom ID is created it wants you to log into your Microsoft account to link Capcom ID to it, and that's one step too far. Immediately uninstalled the game after that. Not sure why Capcom needs to link or gain access to personal data in your Microsoft account.
I like it but if it's co-op only kind of kills it for me. I kept hoping to see a campaign mode, but all indications so far is there isn't one.
@Dramlin I went through this and it didn’t seem any different to other company’s account linking methods. It’s just asking if you want to give permission to access your Microsoft account through the Capcom website, and naturally, when the accounts link they’re going to speak to each other about your activity, share friends lists and so forth.
Microsoft wouldn’t allow this if it breached rules. And other companies have the same stuff.
@Dramlin Yes, it's what @Kienda explained. It's basically for being able to use the communication features. I find it quite useful because you don't need to use two different services/contracts/log-ins but you are allowing the developer to use the Xbox information, which is just friends, chat and things like that, nothing that really targets you as a particular citizen.
Thanks all for the replies. I'll give it another shot as I did want to try this game. I'm good with Capcom having access to things like friends list, activity, etc... Just don't really want yet another service to have real name, billing info, etc..
@Dramlin yeah, it is a bit annoying having to sign up to so many things. It’s mainly a practice of email gathering so they can market to you.
