Microsoft has revealed another five games leaving Xbox Game Pass in the latter part of July 2023, and it includes a few pretty big departures such as The Ascent and Two Point Campus.
Marvel's Avengers is also on the list ahead of the game's removal from the Xbox Store this September.
Here's what's leaving Xbox Game Pass in late July 2023:
Xbox Game Pass: Leaving Soon (July 31, 2023)
Date | Game | Platform |

July 31 | Expeditions: Rome | PC |
July 31 | Marvel's Avengers: Definitive Edition | Console, PC, Cloud |

The Ascent would have been really good if I didn't need an electron microscope to read the in-game text. I gave up on it pretty quickly.
What game is on the thumbnail?
@CutchuSlow thats Marvel’s Avengers.
I just got back into The Ascent with a friend. Whoops.
Two Point Campus on Series X is only a fiver at CeX, definitely gonna be buying it.
@Markatron84 it's definitely Fitbits issues but for a small studio they definitely did a great job hopefully they learn from this one and make a great overall game next time. Graphics were amazing but it had difficulty spikes, small text, and it was really annoying that you can't adjust your weapon upgrades afterwards. I didn't realize you could only fully upgrade one weapon until I was well into the game and already upgraded some weapons from earlier in the game.
Was planning on playing Avengers story at some point, I'll see if I can squeeze it in but i still haven't finished Ascent either lol. Ah well
@Krzzystuff yeah, unfortunately I'm visually impaired so the unreadable text essentially meant I couldn't play unless I wanted to bungle my way through it not knowing what anything was or did.
Yeah they had alot of complaints about the text size from the beginning. I can understand your frustrations with it.
@Krzzystuff Avengers campaign is really awesome fun. So sad they screwed up multiplayer. Game could been amazing and had legs for years.
I recommend Dreamscaper as a fun roguelite. It scratched the Hades itch more than others I have tried, and I liked the story elements and characters. It's not Hades but I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Ascent was fun, but I agree re small text, occasional bugs and difficulty spikes. I ended up switching to easy difficulty to get through the last battle to complete story mode. I think it moved over to PS service if anyone missed it and has that.
The others leaving were not for me. Looking forward to the new additions taking their places!
I wanted to play Two Point Campus and The Ascent, might have to try and complete the Ascent before it leaves and to buy Two Point Campus cheap at retail.
