Yesterday was a big day for AEW: Fight Forever news, as the pre-orders went live for the Xbox version (along with other platforms), and lots of gameplay footage began hitting the web from a variety of YouTubers.
Let's start with that footage. Specifically, there were a couple of videos that grabbed a significant amount of attention due to the crazy weapons on display, from skateboards to flaming tables and even bombs! It looks like a total blast to play with friends in particular, and we can't wait to try it for ourselves later this month.
In addition to this, there's an IGN preview showing off a bit of the Road to Elite career mode, with the outlet describing the game as "simple pick-up-and-play fun that wrestling games used to be, even if it is a bit rough around the edges."
And finally, those Xbox pre-orders are now live. You can grab the standard version of AEW: Fight Forever for £49.99 / $59.99 with a pre-order bonus including two versions of Matt Hardy, while the special Elite Edition features one-day early access, some extra mini-games, and the DLC characters of FTR, The Bunny, Keith Lee, Hook and Danhausen for £62.99 / $71.99.
There's not long to go now - AEW: Fight Forever launches for Xbox on June 29th, 2023!
