We know that Xbox developer Playground Games is busy working away on the Fable reboot, but is the team also toiling away on something else? Well, we're not quite sure, but we do know that another developer has been drafted in to help with Forza Horizon 5 content.
Posting to Twitter yesterday, Wushu Studios revealed that it has been helping on FH5 content lately - specifically the game's recent 'Explore the Horizon' update, which added new photo mode features and more.
Support teams working on huge AAA projects is nothing new, but we don't usually see public announcements like this one declaring what work is being undertaken where. Regardless, we're glad that Xbox is finding ways to keep the Forza Horizon 5 content coming.
Now, this is pure speculation on our part, but maybe Playground is getting a wee bit busy here? Again, we know Fable is coming, but it's also increasingly likely that the bulk of the FH5 team has moved onto the next series entry - and this little news drop is adding fuel to our 'Forza Horizon 6' flavoured fire.
The big Xbox Games Showcase 2023 takes place this Sunday, where we're expecting to see Playground's Fable following a recent Xbox tease. We're starting to suspect that another chunk of the team is now well on its way to creating Forza Horizon 6 as well.
