We know that a lot of people have been waiting for the PlayStation exclusive adventure game Stray to come to Xbox for such a long time (almost a year now), and the wait might finally almost be over!
Last month, it was revealed that the game had been rated for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S in the United States, and an upcoming showcase - taking place next week - seems the perfect place to announce a date.
The Annapurna Interactive Showcase 2023 officially begins at 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 8pm BST on Thursday, June 29th, promising "reveals, announcements, and one of our biggest announcements yet". Stray does feature in the teaser trailer (seen above), so it seems a likely bet that it'll show up during the main event. Annapurna is the publisher of Stray, while the developer is BlueTwelve Studio.
Of course, we'll be keeping an eye on the showcase next week and sharing all the major Xbox related reveals after it's finished, and hopefully that'll include a release date for Stray - it'll be even better if it's on Xbox Game Pass!

Getting both Little Kitty, Big City and Stray on gamepass would be a win for cat enthusiasts.
I tried Stray on PS but didn't stick with it. I need to give it another chance
Found Stray to be very overrated. Was alright as a free game though. Will get the plats for both versions someday. Will not be playing on the Xbox though.
I played this on PS5 and really liked it, until it crashed. I would have started it up again but heard Xbox might be getting it, and I prefer achivements to Trophies, so will wait. That said, it's a really cool game, feels like a classic Playstation game from the PS1 era.
Hoping this brings Solar Ash news for Xbox
Really fun game. Everyone talks about being the cat, which was novel, and that was cool, but one of my favourite things that few people talk about was the world, the robots and setting. It's got great worldbuilding and I loved exploring that world and seeing their reaction to the cat. That all said it's not as amazing as some made out imho.
Looking forward to the Annapurna showcase.
@Kramlar Same for me. It was announced almost a year ago to be coming to Xbox in "Winter" and they haven't said anything about it since.
They're one of my favourite publishers so excited to see what's in store.
