Capcom has delivered some proper Dragon's Dogma 2 gameplay at the PlayStation Showcase 2023, almost a full year after it was first revealed last summer.
That reveal was a decade on from the original release too, so Capcom certainly knows how to make us wait with Dragon's Dogma! Anyway, gameplay is finally here and we must admit, it's looking pretty good so far.
We absolutely got some Skyrim and Elden Ring vibes from this trailer, but with more dragons because you know - clue's in the name! We didn't get any kind of release window for Dragon's Dogma 2 here unfortunately, but we at least know that Capcom's upcoming sequel is heading to Xbox Series X and S alongside PS5 and PC.
"Dragon’s Dogma is a single player, narrative driven action-RPG that challenges the players to choose their own experience – from the appearance of their Arisen, their vocation, their party, how to approach different situations and more."
Are you hyped for the long-awaited sequel to Dragon's Dogma? Let us know what you think of the new trailer.

This was the highlight of the show for me, looks amazing and can't wait to play it.
Also it looks way ahead in development than I thought it would be, maybe just maybe a 2024 release.
First one was a decent time. I'll probably check this out.
This looks great, I just hope Capcom keeps the pawn system 😀.
@Sol4ris Pretty sure in the trailer you see the character touch the pawn stone.
Bought the first one. Still need to play it!
Holy moly I've been waiting for a sequel ever since I played the first game at launch. This is incredible news 😮😁 Please be good!
Most impressive game of the show. Can’t wait to play this one.
That show almost put me in a coma except for DD2 and Alan Wake 2. the rest of it ... meh, who cares. I still have no reason to buy a PS5. not losing sleep, very happy with gaming only on xbox and pc!
MS saved some money here, that show advertised alot of good third party games for xbox!
The first game's a powerhouse. I can't wait for more, and I'm jealous of anyone who hasn't had the chance to experience it yet.
It was also responsible for teaching me that many a poor sour drowns in water, and that wolves hunt in packs.
