Earlier this week, we had a bunch of Pure Xbox members telling us that they'd suddenly lost their weekly streaks for Microsoft Rewards, and that problem has been widespread - the vast majority of users have been affected by the issue.
The latest update is that the team is aware of it, and it's currently being investigated:
Unfortunately, we've seen a lot of people "losing" over 100 weeks' worth of progress towards their weekly streaks, so we're hoping the Microsoft Rewards team can find a way to reset everyone back to where they should be.
We'll keep an eye out for any official developments and let you know if and when the issue is resolved.

I lost a 93 week streak, which isn't ideal.
36 week gone for me. Hopefully they fix soon
55 week streak for me gone
Haven't checked yet but i was about to get my 2.5K points this week on my son's account abd mine was 2-3 weeks away.... hopefully it's still intact. All they need to do is give folks who lost their streaks like 5K points and all is good.
Update: my streaks are still going. I do hope that they give affected folks free points, it's what it's all about.
Same with me. Can't remember how many weeks, but over 100 for sure, and it takes a long time to bring the rewards up to the big payout again.
The rewards system has been a real mess lately
I thought I was gutted losing 20+ weeks.
Edit: my wife pointed out: it's a great cost-saving bug for xbox though. 🤔
@PhileasFragg It's not quite as bad as you fear as you get rewards more often at the beginning i.e. 100, 250, 500 & 1000 points in the first 10 weeks. Total: 1850 instead of 2500 every 10 weeks you get later. Though if you were near the next 2500 this could be worse.
I had like 52 weeks if I'm remembering correctly. Definitely was higher than 1 😆
I only had a 5 day streak but I can confirm mine has been reset.
@Sam_TSM Likely a dodgy SQL migration to some degree as a result of a deployment. Data shouldn't be lost for those affected as a company with the resources that Xbox have will have backups of backups of backups.
I’ve just finished this weeks set this morning and my streak as been reinstated back from 1 to 115. I’m pretty sure I was at 160+ week streak before the reset with about 3 weeks to go before getting the 2,500 points but I’ll take 115 seeing as there’s no added bonus once we get 2,500 points every 10 weeks.
@MaccaMUFC Yep just completed and both my accounts now showing a longer streak.
Think mine are both correct too, or close enough.
@FraserG FYI, seems to be solved now once completed the weekly set (still looks messed up until you do so)
That's great but they haven't fixed the bug for achievements the other week that cost me 162 week streak. The achievements tracking in the app is just broken and has been for a while, in glad they moved achieve more earn more to gamepass quests as that's been triggering reliably. They obviously know it's broken as the earn 3 achievements hasn't come up since the week I lost my streak.
I lost a 138 week streak but thankfully today 14th April it is now back to normal
