The Microsoft Rewards program on Xbox has become more heavily reliant on earning achievements this year, with March 2023's Monthly Bonus Round requiring five achievements as part of the list of tasks for 2000 points. Plus, you can earn 50 points per-day by completing an achievement, and that definitely adds up in the long run!
With that in mind, we wanted to draw your attention to one of the current Xbox Games With Gold, which was actually part of February's roundup - it's a game called Guts 'N Goals. It's littered with easy achievements, from completing the tutorial to winning a match. Here are some examples:
- Finish Tutorial (10GS)
- Buy Something From The Shop (15GS)
- Play A Versus Game (15GS)
- Play A Minigame (30GS)
- Win A Match (90GS)
There are many more easy achievements on offer here, so if you're struggling with maximising your Microsoft Rewards points, it's definitely worth keeping this game on the backburner.
You'll need to act quickly, as Guts 'N Goals is only included as part of the Xbox Games With Gold program until March 15th, so if you don't claim it before then, you'll miss out on the chance to acquire it for free. Go... grab it now!

I need to get achievements in "women games" for 500 points but I had completed what I was interested in, The Gunk and A Plague Tale Requiem. I can play a bit of any of the others, I guess but sometimes three achievements mean hours and hours depending on the game.
@Banjo- Played Chorus for this, didn't take too long and is a good game so it wasn't a chore anyway.
@Pac_Bot Thanks, I will download that.
@Banjo- Took me less than an hour to get four achievements from Moonscars.
@Banjo- Yep, Chorus is a good space shooter.
@Ralizah Thank you as well. I am curious about Recore but I don't have the time for it now. I didn't like the Dishonoured 1 or 2 (I think it was 2) demo I played once on Xbox One X, mostly because of the performance that made me dizzy, perhaps they're better on Series X. I want to play Mask of the Lunar Eclipse that I pre-ordered and Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch before it leaves Game Pass but I'll try Chorus and/or Moonscars for this.
@GarbonZoni Thank you my friend, I was missing you!
@Banjo- No worries R'kid. I played it on Game pass when it first appeared, then bought it cheap in a sale as I like a good arcadey space shooter. Not enough of em.
@Banjo- So, Moonscars has an achievement for killing enemies by knocking them into spikes, an achievement for stunning a certain number of enemies, and an achievement for dying a certain numbers of times. Extremely early on, you'll be prompted to craft something. I went with this sort of sledgehammer weapon. It made getting the cheevos easy, since hitting enemies with them stunned them, and there are several sections where you can knock them onto spikes. Anyway, once I got to an ideal spot, I just went through an area, killed the enemies, suicided by jumping onto spikes, and then repeated the process a few times.
Then uninstalled the game, since it's not my sort of thing.
I grabbed Paranormasight to go along with Fatal Frame, since they're both games themed around Japanese supernatural subject matter and released on the same day.
I didn't get on with the first Ni no Kuni at all, but it has its fans. Hopefully you enjoy it more than I did.
@Ralizah Thanks for all the tips!
@Banjo-
I am in the same boat. Will probably try n knock it out tomorrow. I think I just need one more.
@EliJapan maybe its microsoft thats sexist for having a reward for earning achievements in womens games.... no need for it. Jumping in offended without actually knowing what they are referring too
@code45709 Thank you. Those replies and accusations #11 and #14 are unacceptable. I wrote "women games" because my console was turned off and I didn't remember what was the challenge name exactly and the "" because for me they're just games as any other.
Removed - flaming/arguing
@Banjo- no worries. I couldn't remember the name knew what you meant without being offended 👍
I did moonscars for mine. Enjoyed what i played but age has not been kind to my skills😂
@code45709 I'm going to try Moonscars to check what you mean LOL and to try the tips I was offered. Perhaps it's not your skills but that some "indie" games are ridiculously difficult and with no difficulty curve at all so don't worry too much 😉. I'll have a look at Chorus, too.
@Banjo- If you're still looking for recommendations, you had mentioned ReCore, and that game has quite a few easy achievements if you've never played it before. I think I've played it for an hour or so, and I have something like 5 achievements in that game. And I played it years ago, long before I was trying to get achievements for Microsoft Reward points.
@LunarFlame17 Wow, another good candidate, thank you!
@EliJapan I am incensed with your attitude. I'm greatly offended at your attempts to demonise fellow gamers as sexist, such intolerance is caustic. We need a safe space to be able to speak freely without fear of being attacked by trolls looking to spread their own form of hate from their warped mind that twists opinions to feed into their sense of self-righteous worth. Shame on you.
@Triggered Thank you. I think exactly the same.
@EliJapan oh so now I'm a troll for exposing you for your hateful accusations and deliberate manipulation of another person's intentions that you can't possibly know with any degree of accuracy that's meaningful. You've interpreted their words in accordance to your own malignant agenda, to suit the narative you declare as the most rational, which only serves to highlight how your mind works and how your thought process is primed to find the worst possible scenario.
Your judgemental, self-serving, finger-pointing, virtue-signalling is a classic example of a narcissistic temperament that finds pleasure in basking in the self-righteous glow of perceived morale superiority over the target of your venomous, character assisination.
People like you who come to extreme conclusions and refuse to accept there's even the remotest possibility that they could be wrong, deny the accused the humanity to discuss and explore the context of their words, insist their unwavering interpretation must be the only feasible one, are as bad as the bigots they pretend to speak out against.
You should take a long hard look at yourself.
@Banjo- you're welcome. People like that need a reality check. It's horrible that you are labelled as sexist on a game website just for saying the word 'women' in reference to games featuring them. They don't know you. They don't know how you express yourself, if English is even your first language, how you think, they know nothing and rush to judgement without even trying to clarify what you meant or give you the opportunity to ease their fear if that's what they really thought you were doing. No, they went straight to the darkest place they could and dragged you there with them. Just awful. I'm sorry you had someone do that to you.
@Triggered Thank you for sticking with your principles and speaking out. There should be more people like you in the world. I was referring to the "Powerful Women of Game Pass". I just checked the complete name, which is an Xbox challenge to get 500 Rewards points this month. Despicable minds tend to reflect themselves on "victims" and that's why they assume the darkest purposes in other people's words or actions. Being called sexist for no reason other than to stretch their tentacles out is nasty and toxic.
@EliJapan nobody else had a problem with what they said or how they said it. Everyone else conversed with Banjo about games. At no point did Banjo go further with their supposed sexism in their many replies to other commenters. The issue lies with you and how your mind works. Stop trying to continue lay them blame on them for your intolerance. I can't believe you still lack the humility and self awareness to see that it could be you in the wrong. You're still trying to make it their problem. Incredible. Such arrogance.
@Triggered I admire how well you express your spot-on remarks, it's exactly what I think and feel inside👌😊.
@Kaloudz Well done and thank you for chiming in. Who would have thought that being a woman or being black was a bad thing that couldn't be mentioned, not even when discussing Microsoft Rewards challenges about them...🤣 I just hope that nobody else has to suffer this user's affronts anymore once the thread is checked.
@EliJapan
For Banjo to be sexist you would have to read the entirety of his post for context that affirms the possibility that 'women games' was written as an affront to women. Clearly that isn't the case, so what you did is remove the term from all context and used it as a weapon against Banjo in an attempt to cause upset whilst feeling good about yourself and the moral high ground you've elevated yourself onto, like a preening peacock parading their ostentatious plumage for all to see and marvel in it's splendour.
All your culturally myopic, insular posturing does is set back the struggle against sexism but it's clear you dont have the emotional capacity to recognise that and act upon it.
I feel sorry for the series of victims you will set upon next. I would place you on ignore but I feel that people should keep an eye on you and your bullying.
@Triggered Don't worry mate, I'll keep reporting abusive behaviour. By the way, I hope that you keep posting and share your views about games and life. Thank you for existing! 💚
@EliJapan playing the victim now? Classic. As if I know you're woman, and as if that has anything to do with anything I've said about you or why I said it. You really will say anything, even double down with the accusations, as long as you don't have to say, 'pardon me for making a mistake. Now that you've explained it I see I jumped to a conclusion.'
I think I will put you on ignore, you're a bad influence. I wish you well in the future and hope you are more tolerant as time goes by.
@GarbonZoni @Pac_Bot I started Chorus. It's technically smooth and sharp on Series X. Controls are also good. I have only unlocked an achievement this far. I reached the point when the world is available and it's full of... chores? 😅
@Banjo- I've ignored much of that and just followed the main story missions.
@Pac_Bot I will do that, the game looks good this far so thank you.
