Update: You may have noticed that some of the requirements have since changed for this March 2023 Monthly Bonus Round punch card - you'll find more details about this elsewhere on Pure Xbox:
Original story: It's that time again! We're big fans of the
here at Pure Xbox, which allows you to complete tasks in order to earn redeemable points which can be spent on gift cards, donations and much more.
March 2023's "Monthly Bonus Round" challenge has just begun, and by satisfying a few requirements by March 31st, you can top up your account by another 2000 points (around £2 / $2).
You'll find this punch card on the Microsoft Rewards app for console, and here's what you'll need to do:
- Launch the Rewards app on seven separate days
- Earn 5 achievements in Xbox One / Series X / Series S games
- Complete three weekly sets
As you can see, the requirements have changed this month (they require a little bit more time and effort now) but you've got until the end of the month to complete them, rather than the usual two weeks.
Along with this, if you log into the Microsoft Rewards dashboard on a browser, some regions will find a new "embrace celebrating women" punch card for 150 points. There's also a new Xbox punch card called "Powerful Women of Game Pass" that will net you 500 points for completing three achievements:
If you're new to the Microsoft Rewards program, this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of obtaining points - you can also earn hundreds per-day by completing Bing searches on PC and mobile, earning Achievements in Xbox games, finding Weekly Treasures, pre-ordering specific games and much more.
Note: Not available in all regions. Full regional details have not been provided by Microsoft.

so i am slightly confused, the mission states "launch the reward app 7 different days", not complete 7 searches, i have completed a search today as this is my weekly task and it has not altered the 7 different day task, can anyone explain ?
@YTgaminggrandpa You're right, it's to "launch the reward app on 7 different days" rather than complete searches this time around.
I was getting confused as well!
Strangely, today didn't seem to count as a 'launch the reward app' day.
@TryToBeHopeful The first day is a bit buggy in my experience. Particularly early on.
A bit annoyed by the increased requirements, but now it's a full month that's good. Plus if you're doing the weekly sets too then you'll do all of these over the course of the month anyway so it's not actually any extra work.
@TryToBeHopeful
yep me too, i launched it and then closed it down and tried again but no day 1 for me
These are pretty big increases in effort for no increase in reward. The 7 log-ins to the app are whatever, but the other 2 are big. Needing to do 3 Weeklies compared to 1 makes it being a whole month irrelevant, as it's the same amount of extra time, just with more chances to mess up. Getting 2 more Achievements isn't as much hard as it is the fact there's a finite amount of them no matter how many games you have, not even getting into player genre preferences, skill ceilings, ones that require other players, or ones completely unobtainable because of offline servers.
Well the log into Rewards app one has counted now. There are A LOT of easy achievements in Age of Empires II.
Has anyone else had the rewards app not tracking achievements recently? I've lost my 50 points for daily achievements several times in the last 2/3 weeks now because it wouldn't trigger in the app!
Kinda dumb that it'll take over two weeks to complete with that weekly set requirement when you could finish the previous months in five days.
If you have noticed the xbox rewards have been getting ever so slightly harder to do over the last year or so. This year will be my 4th time subscribing to game pass. It will be interesting to see what the conversion rate will be this time. I've had two 1 pound deals and the last one cost a month of ultimate game pass. So I'm expecting a little more this time. Iooks like they are starting to try and get folks to sub the old fashioned way. By paying for it lol
Update: It seems the requirements are closer to the original now. On my account it now says the requirements are 7 Log-in days, 3 Achievements, & 2 Weekly Sets with the same end date of 3/31. So either they got it wrong or people complained.
