We've got another title coming to the Xbox Game Pass library today! Flying Wild Hog's new version of Shadow Warrior 3 is now available to download and play, serving as a newly optimised version for Xbox Series X and S users.
The Definitive Edition of Shadow Warrior 3 includes a whole bunch of new content, including a 60FPS performance mode (along with a 4K graphics mode), New Game Plus, Hardcore difficulty and much more.

The original version of this was only on PS Plus Extra for a few months. Wondering if that will be the case for GamePass too or if we’ll get the usual full year.
For some reason I can't get this game to run.
I've rebooted the Xbox, other games work fine. I guess I have to reinstall it.
Anyone else having issues with this title?
@Fishticon nevermind. All I had to do was complain about it here, and now it works.
Played a couple of hours and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by how great it is. I remember it only get a lukewarm response when it first came out but it's an absolute blast to play. Highly recommended trying it.
This game has been on my wish list, maybe it's about time I picked it up. I haven't done any research, because I've steered clear of 1st person shooters for quit some time now, as I'm an older gamer and the cod formula has been beaten like a dead horse; in my opinion.
When I picked up my series X, the very first 1st person I picked up was Doom Eternal (I grew up with DooM). I'm digging DooM's new formula of run, gun, flames, grenades and chainsaws; but man, does the multiplayer suck!
I don't know if Shadow Warrior is it, but I'm looking for some good old run and gun death match with fast, unrealistic, over the top graphics, power ups.
