You're probably well aware of Insignia at this point - it's a new replacement service for Xbox Live 1.0 on the original Xbox - and the good news is that it's continued to add new supported titles throughout the early part of 2023.
When we last mentioned Insignia, the supported list sat at around 40 games, but we're going to be looking at over 60 as of next week. Five have been added in February already, and we've got six to come in early March.
Here's a look at the latest titles to be supported by Insignia:
- Call of Duty 2: Big Red One (February 3rd, 2023)
- Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO (February 3rd, 2023)
- Dancing Stage Unleashed (February 3rd, 2023)
- Trivial Pursuit: Unhinged (February 3rd, 2023)
- Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland (February 3rd, 2023)
- Rainbow Six 3 (March 3rd, 2023)
- Room Zoom: Race For Impact (March 3rd, 2023)
- Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow (March 3rd, 2023)
- Marvel Ultimate Alliance (March 3rd, 2023)
- Thousand Land (March 3rd, 2023)
- Prince of Persia Warrior Within (March 3rd, 2023)
The downside to Insignia at the moment is that it's not particularly simple to set up, which probably explains why only just over 4500 people have signed up so far - although keep in mind that it's still operating in an invite-only beta form.
We're hopeful that Insignia will continue to improve in the future to become more populated, more accessible and perhaps even officially supported in some capacity by Microsoft... that's the dream, but for now it remains a cool little project with plenty of potential in the coming months and years, and we'll be keeping a close eye on it.
