It feels like Marvel's Midnight Suns hasn't garnered that much attention on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S since it arrived this past December, but we've been having a fantastic time with the game so far!
If you've been enjoying it like us, you'll be glad to know it's about to receive its first DLC pack, bringing Deadpool to the game along with new story missions and a "tasty new Abbey Upgrade". You can check out the trailer above.
Here's a bit more information on what to expect from the DLC:
"As a recruitable hero**, expect the full suite of Marvel’s Midnight Suns’ greatness with Deadpool bringing unique new abilities and his signature brand of chaos to the battlefield, as well as the opportunity to build Friendship and become best friends with the Merc with a Mouth in the Abbey. New enemy types will also be introduced in the story missions** - plus, you'll want to develop Deadpool's unique Research project Food Truck to give you an extra tactical edge on the battlefield."
This pack, which is called "The Good, The Bad, and The Undead", will be available both separately and as part of the Marvel's Midnight Suns Season Pass on January 26th, 2023, although pricing for the former has yet to be revealed.

Game is pretty darn fun, but I got distracted by other stuff for a while, I should get back to it.
@Sakisa my sentiments exactly! Probably gonna buy the dlc too, just unsure if I’m gonna wait for a discounted season pass or piece meal it together
Fun game. I think it would have done better at a lower price point just because the nature of it being a “card” game. I think the perception of a $70 card game didn’t sit well with a lot of gamers. But it is still legitimately a well-made AAA experience.
Nolan North as Deadpool might be what pushes me over the line to get this game. I like turn based games and loved xcom, but the fire emblem dating sim stuff really put me off.
@MattWithoutFear That side is reasonably minimal. Do what they ask, skip the dialogue, reap the battle bonuses.
@NimrodsSon cool thanks!
This is a game I'd be interested to pick up on a good sale in a couple years. Not going to pay £70 + extra for DLC for any game.
I'm really enjoying the game. I have taken the Light Side approach for my first play-through (and it's a long game), so when I finish it over the next few days (just in time for Dead Space remake), I'll probably set it aside and then await all the DLC to release before attempting a second, Dark Side, run. I bought the Legendary Edition, so I believe that entitles me to all upcoming DLC.
Has anyone actually done a Dark Side run? I'm curious how basically having no friends affects the game play, especially in relation to unlocking all the characters legendary abilities...
