It's safe to say we've played our fair share of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 over the last week or so. That playtime has been spread across both campaign and multiplayer, but even so, we hadn't spotted this neat feature tucked into MW2's killstreak system!
Basically, when you're piloting a player-controlled killstreak in Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer and it gets shot down, a mini-cutscene will play out as you plummet to your untimely death.
Now, whether the reason behind us not seeing this in-game is because we're not good enough to earn these streaks, or because we haven't equipped these rewards, is top-secret... either way, we're now going to be striving to earn them just to see if any alternative cutscenes play out!
Of course, this isn't a huge game-changing feature but it's a cool one nonetheless, and it adds some cinematic flair where in previous years the game would just fade to black upon killstreak death. Over on the campaign side of things, Modern Warfare 2 already delivers plenty of cinematic goodness; we know that for sure.
