One person who has been a huge fan of Obsidian's latest release, Grounded, since the beginning of its existence back in 2020 is the Head of Xbox - Phil Spencer.
Last week, Version 1.0 was officially released. Spencer mentioned at the time how he was "really proud" of the small and focused team at the studio that had been working on this small but big game. It should come as no surprise, then, to see he's also been playing it - recently sharing the following in-game sunset screenshot via social media:
In the lead-up to Grounded's release, Phil also sat down and had a chat with Adam Brennecke about the Version 1.0 launch. It's well worth a look if you're curious to know more about the latest content that's been added to the game:
Have you tried out Version 1.0 of Grounded yet? Tell us in the comments.

Don't know about other platforms but on Series S there's an annoying fuzzy effect in the graphics where black rising lines appear. Can't really describe it but it makes the game look dirty.
@JON22 I’ve been playing on a medium level PC and it’s been good so far. But I definitely could see your issue.
Overall I’ve really enjoyed this game. Though I’ll be honest, it’s a time sink if you play full on survival. Which is great for people who love that. For me, playing with God Mode on has still made the exploration and base building a blast. I know I’m lame. I just realized after several hours of dying that I didn’t have that kinda time. But I enjoy the setting and overall experience.
