Microsoft has officially announced November 2022's Xbox Games with Gold, giving us a look at a couple more games we'll be able to play at no extra cost with our Gold memberships next month.
And... oh boy, this month's selection isn't going down well so far. In case you missed it, the games are Xbox One titles Praetorians - HD Remaster and Dead End Job, which unfortunately are not the games that many wanted to see:
But what about you? How are you feeling about November 2022's selection, and is some of the criticism being overblown on social media? We're keen to find out what you think about this month's Games with Gold titles below.
Let us know how you're feeling about November 2022's Xbox Games With Gold below.

I've never played an RTS so I guess I'll try out Praetorians in preparation for AoE next year. I have no interest in rouge games so I'll pass on Dead End Job. Honestly if they couldn't do anymore BC titles, why not add a third game slot like PS+? Night in the Woods would've been a nice choice.
Compared with their obvious counterpart on ps plus essential, they are pathetic.
Why MS shoots itself like this every month is beyond me, so many people will conclude ps offering is better, but its gp vs extra that counts, and thats much more weighted in xboxs favour...
People love to complain about the offering every month no matter what it is. When they give AAA games like Gears 5, people complain because they already own the game. When they do indie titles, they complain because they're not AAA. I like the fact that Microsoft is trying to broaden my gaming horizons with giving me some games that I never would've played otherwise.
If Microsoft are really serious about taking Sony and Nintendo and gaining massive market share as after two years they are no better off really.
They should get rid of gold and have just gamepass and online free to play to all on Xbox.
They really are not doing for gamers and especially the general public this year, hence the reported by Microsoft hardware slow down in sales.
No buzz about Xbox and momentum coming into the Black Friday and Christmas.
If I was in charge I wouldn’t be happy with the VP’s and top dogs below me.
I guess it must be this future strategy thing we keep hearing about, that doesn’t give us one top AAA from their studios for the whole of 2022.
I’m sure gaming was about new games, I must have got it all wrong. Or perhaps Sony and Nintendo have it all wrong as well.
When I think deeply about it, it really is pathetic from one of the richest companies on earth.
To big a management structure, wrong people in the wrong jobs and probably to well off themselves.
Eh, I don't care for either game but Games For Gold is just a byproduct of subscribing to Game Pass for me.
Right now Gold very much feels like Nintendo's Switch Online - you're not paying for it because it's good, you're paying for it because there's no choice if you wanna play online. Meanwhile Sony gives away games you've heard of and little things for a lot of F2P games, which you barely get with Game Pass Ultimate.
There's no doubt Game Pass is the better offering compared to Playstation Plus Extra. Gold compared to Plus Essential however...it's literally not even close.
GWG is obviously low quality, but would I say Xbox has weak perks overall? Absolutely not. October had a weak GWG selection, but amazing gamepass additions. At this point, if you have an Xbox you play, but you’re not on gamepass I don’t know what to tell you.
@Dezzy70 Maybe instead of complaining about everything, you should be grateful for what you have. The world is going through a lot right now, games are not a priority nor a requirement.
@xMightyMatt14x because i buy the games i want to play. If i don't buy it i'm not interested, and if i am not interested i won't be playing it. So... paying gamepass to have like 3 or 4 games that i will probably play and nothing more...
But i get it. I know why people like gamepass. And Microsoft is doing it well. But for me, as shoot'em'up and fighting games player, there's not much on it.
@ZYDIO
So we all stop and give up then in life do we, for our aims and ambitions and what we believe in and strive for.
Not me I work dam hard I play dam hard and get on and strive for perfection.
@Dezzy70 Then you will never be satisfied because you are striving for the unobtainable. Thats really sad, I feel sorry for you.
@ZYDIO
Please don’t feel sorry for me.
I just one of those that never gives up and strives for the best.
As for having contentment, I do get some, sometimes 😂👾👾
I loved Praetorians back in the day, and it looks like a decent enough remaster. I'll couch coop Dead End Job with my kid, too so it's a good month for me.
Gold has been dead for years. I don’t think it’s ever really been able to compete with the quality of psplus. And you can certainly trace back the dive in the quality it did have to the birth of gamepass and Xbox subsequent clear focus there.
Trouble is there’s far more gold subs than gamepass. And Xbox are trying their hardest to make gold as unappealing as possible so that you’ll move to gamepass. They even tried raising the price of it - it’s only real selling point being to give you access content you’ve already paid for.
It’s crazy archaic. But it’s also a lot of money now to leave on the table just because gamers have finally woken up and wondering why they’re being charged for online still
So now is the time to finally let gold actually benefit you by using it to get super cheap gamepass. And typically, as soon as it does actually benefit us, you now all want gold to go. 🫥
I have literally no interest in either of these games, but nobody is subscribing just for those so it really doesn't matter. There's Gamepass.
Having said that, there have been a few decent GwG recently. I was pleased with Yoku's Island Express a while back. That was my GOTY when I played it back on Switch.
It's a shame they got rid of the backwards compatible Xbox and 360 games though, I'd rather have two guaranteed backwards compatible old games per month, stuff that doesn't come up on Gamepass, than two current gen games of questionable quality.
