
The floodgates have opened for the Age of Empires series on Xbox, with the announcement Age of Empires II and Age of Empires IV will be coming to the system next year. It's left many Xbox fans wondering what else could be added to this console lineup in the future.
Apart from Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition and the original title, Microsoft and World's Edge has now announced Age of Mythology: Retold. It's another "definitive edition" and enhances the original 2002 PC title. All that's known right now is that it will have "updated graphics, features and more".
So far, it's been confirmed for PC Game Pass, but there's no mention of Xbox at this point in time. An announcement trailer has also been released:

Let's hope this one will get a console port too one day. Loving these games but I barely play on pc anymore.
Now, will we get just the original+expansion without the newer stuff made years later? AFAIK, that last expansion was reportedly a dud and kind of broken...
