It's crazy to think we're now just under four months away from the release of EA's Dead Space remake on January 27th, 2023! With the launch fast approaching, we've been treated to our first proper look at gameplay with a new trailer.
While the trailer is only a couple of minutes long, it gives us a good look at the game's seemingly jaw-dropping visuals, along with some snippets of combat. The unsettling, gory atmosphere of the original seems to be on-point as well.
As you might expect, Dead Space will be a current-gen only release when it arrives in January (meaning there's no Xbox One version), and based on the stunning footage and screenshots we've seen so far, we can definitely understand why!
You can check out the brand-new trailer above, along with some more details below. Pre-orders are now available on the Xbox Store for standard and Digital Deluxe versions, while Limited Run is handling the Collector's Edition. All Dead Space purchases on the Xbox Store are discounted by 10% if you're an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate member.
- Dead Space - £69.99 / $69.99 (Xbox Store)
- Dead Space Digital Deluxe Edition - £79.99 / $79.99 (Xbox Store)
- Dead Space Collector's Edition - $274.99
"The sci-fi survival horror classic Dead Space returns, completely rebuilt from the ground up to offer a deeper and more immersive experience. This remake brings jaw-dropping visual fidelity and suspenseful atmospheric audio, as well as new gameplay content and improvements while staying faithful to the original game’s thrilling vision."

The Callisto Protocol in December and Dead Space a month later we're being spoilt lol
Really looking forward to this game, It looks beautiful and i love the art style.. Never played Dead Space before so this is a day 1 buy for me..
Looks good and Isaac can talk, but I can't say I'm swept off my feet. Something about the audio feels off, I can't put my finger on it though. Probably missing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. I'll probably just replay Dead Space close to Halloween and try the remake when it eventually hits EA Play, which it will.
Just saw this on push too!
Looking great. I bet this wont be on EA play and I'll have to pay for this one. When it looks this good, I'm happy to buy it
That looked incredible!
Callisto Protocol
Bayonetta 3
God of War
Dead Space
Evil West
Scorn
High on Life
A Plague Tale: Requiem
Forespoken
The next 3 months are stacked.
£70 and I thought Sony took the mickey. Glad i played through the first two a while back for the first time. Callisto Protocol for me. I won't be paying for this, will wait for EA play.
Mass Effect Trilogy remake was £54.99 and came to EA play. I only paid £12 for that due to reward points though. Dead Space doesn't compare yet more £. Inflation hey or damn right cheeky.
Hi there fellow gamers.
Got my very first Platinum trophy with the original game, by playing three times, with the last one being a fun challege of playing on the hardest difficulty only with Isaac´s trusty Plasma Cutter. Can´t wait to play this new version.
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming to us all
@JH1022 Hi there friend.
Hey, someone who also mentions Evil West as a must have.
The game looks very fun.
Can´t wait for pretty much all of those tittles myself.
The next few months are going to be incredible for games, but bad for our wallets.....
Cheers, stay safe and all the best
