The Lords of the Fallen, the sequel to the 2014 Xbox One game, has been revealed today as part of Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022. It's in development for Xbox Series X and Series S, along with PS5 and PC.
All we've seen so far is a cinematic trailer, but it looks pretty amazing! You can check it out above, and we've included more details about the game below courtesy of the game's Steam page.
"The Lords of the Fallen introduces an all-new, epic RPG adventure in a vast, interconnected world more than five times larger than the original game.
After an age of the cruellest tyranny, the demon God, Adyr, was finally defeated. But Gods… do not fall forever. Now, aeons later, Adyr’s resurrection draws nigh. As one of the fabled Dark Crusaders, journey through both the realms of the living and the dead in this expansive RPG experience, featuring colossal boss battles, fast challenging combat, thrilling character encounters, and deep, immersive storytelling. Will your legend be one of light… or one of darkness?"

Great trailer but no gameplay so hard to get excited. The first game was flawed I believe, hopefully they can get it right this time.
Lords of the Fallen was not good, but The Surge and The Surge 2 were a ton of fun. Hopefully this is a big improvement on the first.
I beat the first game but it wasn't great. Enjoyable but not great. Surprised to see this get a sequel
I like Lords of the Fallen, I've played it 3 times now. Use daggers and short swords if you want it to play quicker
I bought the original for like $10 on a PSN sale years ago and never touched it. Seemed to be a perennial bargain bin favorite. It's shocking it's getting a sequel.
That's great that you guys finally put "also PS5 and PC" in there. It's been a pet peeve accross the 3 sites where multi-plat games are separately listed on each as though it's exclusive. Hopefully that becomes the norm!
Looks cool. Playing through the first one now. It's a good souls like game for a filthy casual like me.
