At EVO 2022's Tekken 7 finals, Bandai Namco appears to have teased a new Tekken project.
It is seemingly the first clip of Tekken 8. In this brief video, you can see the classic cutscene of Kazuya, and then it cuts to a much better model of him. The Game Awards also shared this news, which has some fans thinking we might be getting a reveal at this event.
In addition to this teaser, Bandai Namco also announced Tekken 7 would be receiving a battle update - featuring balance adjustments. In related EVO news, Dragon Ball FighterZ is receiving rollback netcode:
If we hear any other developments, we'll let you know.

@Royalblues given how bad tag 2 did that’s not going to happen
I'm guessing a remake but if that is the case I would rather them do Tekken 2, I think that game has the best sound tracks and cool cut scenes for each character.
The question is if it will have an Xbox port, and if it does will they actually take the time to care about the Xbox port instead of the low res garbage unpatched version we got stuck with on 7. I ended up re-buying it on PS4 and buying a stick adapter just so it wasn't a blurry mess.
Bring back team battle
