Last month, Forza Horizon 5's first expansion in the form of Hot Wheels finally arrived, marking Forza's second crossover with the iconic franchise. In a little under two weeks since that launch, the DLC has already surpassed one million players worldwide, which is quite a feat!
The stat comes from the DLC's in-game 'Hall of Fame' leaderboard, which displays every player who's loaded up the DLC. The number has just ticked over a million here, not far from its July 19 launch.
Recently, the core game hit 20 million players, again, picked up via the Hall of Fame leaderboard. That number includes Game Pass players mind, where the DLC has to be bought separately as it's not included in a Game Pass sub.
Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels seems to have gotten off to a pretty decent start then! We enjoyed our review time with the expansion, although it didn't blow us away with anything particularly new for the long-running Forza franchise.
Have you jumped into Hot Wheels yet? What do you think of it so far? Let us know!

Considering the expansion isn't part of Game Pass that's a very decent number indeed.
I'm actually done with it. Playing on the recommended Highly Skilled level, you can just select a quick enough car and crash your way into victory. It has little to do with racing...
I'm taking a break from the game untill they come up with an expansion that actually has real driving in it and it's not meant for toddlers...PS:If the next expansion happens to be Lego I'm just gonna put a cross on the game and wait for FH6.
