The Xbox Game Pass announcements just don't stop, eh? This latest batch comes from the Xbox Games Showcase Extended 2022 event from earlier today, where we were treated to three major XGP announcements.
There's a bit of an odd one out, because Slime Rancher 2 had already been confirmed for Game Pass ages ago, but today was the first time it received a gameplay trailer and a release window of Fall 2022.
Slime Rancher 2 (Fall 2022)
Continue the adventures of Beatrix LeBeau as she journeys across the Slime Sea to Rainbow Island, a land brimming with ancient mysteries, and bursting with wiggly, new slimes to wrangle in this sequel to the smash-hit, Slime Rancher.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (2023)
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is an asymmetrical horror experience based on the groundbreaking and iconic 1974 horror film.
Valheim (2023)
A brutal exploration and survival game for 1-10 players, set in a procedurally-generated purgatory inspired by viking culture. Battle, build, and conquer your way to a saga worthy of Odin’s patronage!

Anyone else think gamepass has been a little stale lately?
Valheim for my Series X, yeeasshh pls. That game is a bit to heavy for my computer. But it is so good.
@Deljo Nope. I think it has been great. Sniper Elite 5, Ninja Gaiden Master Collection, AC Origins, For Honor, and others. I think they have been killing it.
@Deljo I will humble disagree with that, I was having the same feeling but after Sniper Elite 5, Ninja Gaiden Master Collection, and Tunic, also all these great games to come, have really been good!
Valheim looks interesting!
@Deljo it's been poor this year. Last year was much better. In the first 6 months this year the only game that has really been awesome was Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Apart from that it's been mediocre or just plain poor games. Way too many Indie games keep being added to fill the quota.
It's only going to get worse with the fact that there's nothing big from first party perspective for at least the next 9 months. It's just ridiculous to be honest.
@Deljo no, not at all. But we all like different things.
Personally I’m still catching up with some of the great games released in January alone including Mass Effect Trilogy, Hitman Trilogy, Death’s Door, The Forgotten City, Spelunky 2, The Pedestrian, Gorogoa, Nobody Saves the World and many more
Since then there have been many good games added including Tunic, Sniper Elite 5, Guardians of the Galaxy, MLB The Show 22, F1 2021, Shredders, Citizen Sleeper, Loot River, Her Story and dozens more.
Honestly more good games than I have time to play. ymmv
There were also around 15 games in a very shoort blink and you miss it ID@Xbox segment. Presumably most of these will come to Game Pass.
You can see this at 1:49:48 in the showcase
The games featured were Tinykin, Spiderhek, A perfect Day, Autonauts, Wrestling with Emotions, Togges, Sopa, Flat Eye, Coral Island, Ukiyo, Soup Pot, Slime Heroes, Lonesome Village, Phantom Abyss & HK: Silksong (again).
Mass Effect Trilogy (Ultimate/EA Play) Hitman Trilogy, Guardians of the Galaxy and Assassin's Creed Origins were all massive AAA additions.
