Xbox has finally lifted the lid on Arkane Austin's Redfall, a four-player co-op shooter featuring some truly vampiric foes. Well, it's launching in 2023 and this first look at gameplay shows us all what to expect.
First up, we're getting major Left 4 Dead / Back 4 Blood vibes from this one. Expect sprawling locales from the game's Massachusetts setting, along with slick four-player first person shooting. Xbox has said it should be launching "within the next 12 months", so hopefully, we'll get a date real soon.
Will you be playing Redfall day one on Xbox Game Pass?

Looks like back4blood. Hope it's actually better.
I don’t like the look of this, got to be honest. The characters seem annoying and don’t stfu.
Super hyped for this!!
Looks interesting enough to give it a try
Is it a "point to point" game, ala L4D/B4B or is this a gaas like destiny/outriders? Either way, yay for gamepass.
Hope it's good, Xbox needs more co-op games. But good gravy they need to cut some of the dialogue, WAY too much talking. It's going to undercut the tension if everyone is talking constantly.
Wasn't interested in this till I saw the trailer actually looked quite good
Huge Arkane fan… this looked so boring. Imagine back4blood with a duller more empty looking world… stick some hero shooter tropes in there and you have this. AI looked poor… visuals last gen. Everything about this just underwhelmed. It was when the gameplay trailer felt it had outstayed its welcome that I knew this was going to be a poor Xbox conference…you start with a heavy hitter…this wasn’t it.
