Summer Game Fest treated us to a whole bunch of news earlier this week, but arguably the biggest news from an Xbox perspective is that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge was announced for Game Pass on June 16th.
We've been hyped for this game for a while, especially considering it's being made by the developers behind the superb Streets of Rage 4, but now we're even more excited to get stuck in with it at no extra charge in a few days!
The expectations are high for TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, and given that the reviews are yet to drop, we're interested to know what score you'll think it'll average on Metacritic post-launch. Will this end up being one of the highest-rated Xbox (and Game Pass) games of the year, or do you think there a chance it'll leave us a little bit disappointed?
Give us your Metacritic prediction down in the poll and comments below. Just a bit of fun!

Looking at an 83 right here boys
86%
It'll be unfairly compared to Streets of Rage 4 (a modern classic of the genre if ever there was one) but the nostalgia factor will boost the score a bit.
I'm gonna say it sits at around an 87 or 88 on Metacritic by the end of it. Would love it to be higher though!
Honestly who cares. Im just excited it's going to be in gamepass so i can try it with my boys. If we have a great time playing it together it's s massive hit in my eyes.
@K1LLEGAL Definitely agree here. I honestly don't give a damn though. I'm just excited to play this. The fact that it's coming to GamePass is even sweeter.
I want it to be in the 90's, but knowing it's a pure beat-em up will probably gate it below 90 due to lack of variety in gameplay. With that being said, I'm all over this like white on rice.
@Rafie yea it just looks like a fun time. Thats the most important thing
Gamepass day 1 so 7/10…isn’t that the rule? Personally can’t wait to play it
I would say about 7 based purely on the footage I have seen - it looks 'average' and 'dated' but if it performs well (which it should on modern hardware), it should be an 'average' to good game - so I think around 7/10 would cover that.
There will be some that will get that 'nostalgia' and enjoy having that nostalgic itch scratched by this and no-doubt fans of this franchise/game style will rate it higher but trying to be as objective as possible, its not exactly raising the bar in terms of gaming and more targetting Nostalgic gamers...
I’m guessing 86
Meta critic doesn't mean much to me. There are high rates games I don't like and lower rated games I love. I rather see reviews split into graphics, sound, gameplay, technical performance etc, since everyone prefers anything else.
But yeah if I have to guess something 79 because of many people who like this retro style of game will review it. But I think the people who like this style of game will play it anyways no matter the score
I’m guessing the 83 is probably the sweet spot, but I’m really hoping the game can be evaluated for what it is… and I’m hoping it’s in the 90s. If it’s as good as the earlier games, it deserves the 90s. TMNT > Streets of Rage for me.
I'm guessing like 84
Too repetitive: 64.
This game will rock 😍. Lets just hope it aint as short as their last game (streets of rage)
@K1LLEGAL currently sitting @ 84 on Metacritic, so your guesstimation was on point.
@PanFriedSoup haha glad it’s doing well - not 90s but still very respectable. Excited to play it tomorrow (should I get a chance)!
