Is Duke Nukem Forever as bad as they say?

Well, you have to see that in context. It is a quirky shooter as all Duke games are. Nothing special, but certainly nothing horrendous either. If you like the (sex)appeal and humour of the series it's definitely for you. People mainly complain, because they expected much, much more after the long ass development time. That's all.

@Kaloudz @lokozar Thank you two! Very honest answers both. I have the three Metro games and still haven't played them.

@Banjo- I was young when it came out and a HUGE Duke fan so I enjoyed it. I can't imagine it's aged well, though.

Replaying Watch dogs 2 after it first launched...man this game has some great and fun stuff in it.

@Kaloudz I also have the Bioshock games in my backlog... but I've played the Doom, Gears of Wars and half of the Halo games last generation 😅. I guess I can skip Duke Nukem Forever for now.

Yep, the Gears games are a lot of fun but better avoid them if they affect your health. My favourites are 1, 2, 3 and 4. They're totally different than Halo, Halo is much more serious. Doom Eternal is my favourite Doom game, it's like Metroid Prime evolved. I really can't wait for Goldeneye on Xbox!

@Kaloudz I don't know but Doom Eternal is much better than Doom 2016, in my opinion.

I didn't really enjoy Doom 2016 but after a while, I got addicted to Doom Eternal. The gameplay combines strategy with a lot control over the character. Controls are a bit more complicated but they improve the game much. I used the Elite controller with the paddles. The game is so fine that I picked up all the collectibles and challenges, that are easy to track thanks to the upgrades. Then I went back to Doom 2016 to replay the levels and get the collectibles but I got bored after a couple of levels.
