Today's Summer Game Fest 2022 showcase has treated us to announcements of four Xbox Game Pass titles, including an unexpected surprise in the form of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge!
They're not all brand new, as we've heard of Midnight Fight Express before but didn't have a date, and Humankind launched on PC Game Pass previously but it's now also coming to Xbox Game Pass for consoles as well.
Humankind (November 4, 2022)
We're thrilled to announce that our turn-based historical strategy game, where players combine cultures to create their own unique civilization, will be coming soon to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and will be playable from day one on Xbox Game Pass.
Midnight Fight Express (August 23, 2022)
Engage in a brutal and hyper-kinetic brawling ballet, using every environmental tool and street fighting technique at your disposal. Level up your abilities to take down the mounting onslaught of bozos, cronies, and crime lords.
Routine (TBD)
Curious exploration turns into a need for survival when a lunar base goes completely quiet. Searching for answers puts you face to face with an enemy who is certain the main threat is you. Discoveries lead to deeper unknowns and the only way to go is forward.
TNMT: Shredder's Revenge (June 16, 2022)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge features groundbreaking gameplay rooted in timeless classic brawling mechanics, brought to you by the beat ’em up experts at Dotemu (Streets of Rage 4) and Tribute Games. Bash your way through gorgeous pixel art environments and slay tons of hellacious enemies with your favorite Turtle...

Cool, that Turtles game looks fun.
Humankind! Yes! I wanted to play it, but my potato PC didn't run it as expected.
TMNT is the definite highlight here, especially with that 6 player online co-op. Brilliant way to fill the hole Streets of Rage 4 left on Gamepass when it...well, left.
It also clears up how i'm buying the game with it being physical on Switch in the immediate future, and then digital on Xbox later down the road sometime before it leaves Gamepass.
Just ordered another controller for some local turtle co-op action, can't wait!
Nice! I've been waiting for TMNT more than any other game. I'll probably go ahead and buy it, however, eventhough I do have a GP sub.
Missed that Routine was a Game Pass title, great. It channeled heavy Alien Isolation vibes with a bit of its own flava.
Midnight Fight Express also looked great like an indie Sifu/Yakuza. TMNT for the win
That midnight fight express game looks interesting. I might try humankind when it's out. The turtle game doesn't do anything for me, I liked that type of game when I was young but played to much of and prefer 3d action games nowadays so I'll skip that one. But it seems I'm the only one here that isn't enthusiastic about it haha
I plan to buy tmnt on switch, but I guess I'll be playing it on gamepass now
TMNT is a fantastic addition. I love Streets of Rage
The Warhammer one was too.
@Trotterwatch Yeah, that one was announced for Game Pass quite a while ago though.
@FraserG yeah I thought that after I posted, lol
Cool that TMNT is coming to gamepass..
Definitely be playing Turtles. And routine looked very promising… destined to be a long wait for that one
Wow Routines trailer made that game look like an even more high quality, more horror themed, Atomic Heart! And I cant wait for Atomic Heart!!
Great Job Xbox, Especially on the TNMT Shredders Revenge for next week! 6 Player MP Mode! So hyped!
I'll definitely give TMNT a try with my family 😃
@FraserG Escape Academy (which looks fantastic), was announced for Game Pass at Day of the Devs. Didn’t notice any others but the gorgeous looking Planet of Lana is coming to just PC and Xbox initially, fingers firmly crossed MS sign them up too!
Pretty sure there were more then these titles announced. Will have to watch the show again.
@themightyant Escape Academy's been announced for a while actually! We've got it in our June list

@S1ayeR74 If you find any let us know! This is all we spotted that was either totally new or getting a date for the first time.
@FraserG Yeah I'll have to watch the show again. But I can't remember what's already been announced before. Do you have a running list of all Game Pass games announced?
@S1ayeR74 We do! (for 2022 at least)

@FraserG Thanks Fraser, I'll have to look through it. So many games lol.
@FraserG My bad! Should know better than to doubt y'all. Thanks.
