We finally have a date for Assassin's Creed Origins on Xbox Game Pass! The game arrives in just a few short weeks on Tuesday, June 7th, and if you want to be ready ahead of time, there's a way to pre-download it right now.
Again, this requires you to use the official Xbox app trick that allows you to download games even if you haven't bought them, and you can grab the app for free on Android and iOS devices. Here's the step-by-step:
- Load up the official 'Xbox' app on Android or iOS (not the Game Pass app)
- Hit the search icon at the bottom of the app
- Tap 'Games' and search for Assassin's Creed Origins
- On the game page, hit 'Download to Console'
At the time of writing, you can't use the official Game Pass app on console to pre-install Assassin's Creed Origins, as trying to do it this way will simply place the game in your "Play Later" category without actually downloading it.
Of course, you could always wait until June 7th to download the 50GB-ish game - it's totally up to you!

Is it getting a patch or not?
i bought this and every other assasin creed about 6 months ago when they had that huge sale cost me aound 100$ for every assasins creed main game and i think two of those chronicle games... i have beaten 1 & 2, working on 3 now...
My wife beat Origins, and now my daughter is playing it. I never have. Loved Ezio trilogy and adored Odyssey. I do like the Assassin's games.
