You may or may not be surprised to hear that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition seems to be on the chopping block for Xbox Game Pass, now appearing in the "Leaving Soon" section of the Xbox Game Pass app.
No further details have been revealed as of yet, so we don't know exactly when it'll be leaving until Microsoft formally announces a date, but it's worth noting that it'll have been on Game Pass for six months as of May 11th.
The complete collection of GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition games got off a rough start last year, with Rockstar even going on to apologise for the state of the three games at launch, but they've since received a few major patches — and publisher Take-Two Interactive confirmed sales of the trilogy had "exceeded expectations" earlier this year.
GTA: San Andreas isn't the only game leaving Game Pass soon — here's what's confirmed so far:
Date | Game | Platform |
April 30th | Cricket 19 | Console, PC, Cloud |
April 30th |
Outlast 2 |
Console, PC, Cloud |
April 30th |
Secret Neighbor |

Streets of Rage 4 |

Not surprised. This is the Rockstar way.
@awp69 Indeed! They only seem to allow 6 month max for all their games.
Played this one for 30 minutes before deleting this crap. So I won’t miss it anyway .
Heard such bad reviews I never downloaded it. Oh well. You won't be missed.
Played the original game via backwards compatibility (not the 360 "remaster", the actual original) many years ago. I wish I still had access to that version, because this one besides the weapon wheel and gps, was a damn shame.
