Is episode 1 racer worth getting? I always thought pod racing would be fun but that this game looked a bit crap.
@scottyluvspuds I personally think it's great, but it's also 20+ years old... so set your expectations accordingly.
Seriously? The only one I need - Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast - is not on sale? 🙄
@scottyluvspuds It was a decent racer 20yrs ago and not the 'cash-in' it seems. I haven't played it for years now so don't know how it holds up but I was pleasantly surprised - considering the reception to Episode 1 and is quite faithful to the source.
The only Star Wars game I wouldn't mind right now is the latest Lego Star Wars. All the rest I have, have played or can play on EA Access...
@scottyluvspuds i remember playing it, it was actually fun held fairly true to source, how it holds up today not horribly gameplay wise but graphics are not steller compared to today... but its still a solid racer for what it is.
Looks blocky, but the mechanics are good. If you are an achievement hunter the 1000 gamerscore is pretty easy. The game does well with branching pathways and secret routes to spice things up
Shame about LEGO Star Wars not being on there. Though I guess it wouldn't be enough of a discount for me to buy it.
Was hoping for the Revenge of the Sith game to be on sale, but I guess having another copy of KOTOR isn't bad either
I May get one of these, but I own one-Fourth of them.
Okay, that was forced.
I just got Lego Star Wars TCS, which I think complete the xbox 360 collection. I had lego star wars 2 and 3 already from games with gold, I think.
Am I right in thinking TCS is Lego Star Wars 2, plus lego star wars 1 (prequels) which I gather is not separately available?)
@IronMan30 I haven't heard a joke that bad in a long time.
Long time.
@PhileasFragg I mean it's been out for just less than a month. Well worth it though, it's basically an encyclopedia.
When it was first announced I though we were losing out that it would be completely different from the original games, but a) I was wrong, and b) they're still available!
Aside from the occasional glitch I'm very happy with it.
@TryToBeHopeful Yeah, it's Lego Star Wars 1 + 2 put together, with a few extra additions and online multiplayer.
