The Game Pass announcements are coming thick and fast, the latest being that Action-RPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising hits the service on day one, May 10th.
Rising, and its sequel Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, were both announced as Xbox Game Pass titles last summer. However, neither had definitive release dates until now, with the prequel now set to launch next month.
It's always good to see day one Game Pass additions, especially Japanese titles that historically have struggled to find a core audience on Xbox platforms. Here's a quick rundown of what Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising has to offer:
Delve into the stunning Runebarrows in classic side-scrolling action, swapping between three characters with distinct abilities. Deftly combine CJ’s swift strikes, Isha’s powerful magic, and beastman mercenary Garoo’s punishing blade to create destructive Link Attacks. Uncover a conspiracy with far-reaching implications, setting the scene for next year’s Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
The sequel, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, is set to launch on Xbox Game Pass sometime in 2023.
Will you be giving this one a go when it launches on Game Pass in May? Let us know in the comments.

Not too keen on these side scrolling action games, only ones I've enjoyed were odin sphere and dragons crown and anything else I've played similar don't compare, so might give this a miss.
Looks awesome. Looking forward to it!
@Medic_Alert This is the action-rpg spin-off weirdly releasing before the main game Hundred Heroes which is the actual Suikoden spiritual successor. Still looking forward to this, especially due to GP.
The soul of Suikoden reborn! I have waited a long time for the return of Suikoden. These will be mine!
@Medic_Alert I don't know much about this one, I don't think much has been released, but thinking it's smaller affair. So yes bring forth the entree!
Nice, can't wait for this. Man gamepass is awesome, I'm glad I replaced my series s to series x
So excited for Trek to Yomi and Eiyuden Chronicle.
This month already paid for itself.
