If you're still on the hunt for a shiny new Xbox Series X console, you'll be pleased to know that Amazon UK has had what appears to be a significant restock.
The console has been steadily available at the retailer all morning – according to Eurogamer, this is the first time Amazon has restocked the machine in almost two months. It's available for its standard retail price of £449.99, so get on it while you can! The more affordable Xbox Series S is also available if you prefer.

Back in December, as Xbox Series X consoles finally started to become a little easier to come by, Amazon was the first retailer to consistently have stock available over a 24-hour period. This gives us some hope that this latest batch will stick around for a good while too, but we wouldn't wait too long if you're desperate!
The product above includes the Xbox Series X console and its accompanying Xbox Wireless controller. If you're looking to grab any other accessories to enhance your time with your new machine, check out our guide to some of the best new Xbox products money can buy.

It feels like since the big stock drop on December 20th, the stock issues have largely reduced. Whether that's due to much better supply or the tumbleweed that is the known Xbox 2022 lineup so far is yet to be seen.
Finally becoming a little easier to get the Xbox Series X. If you know anyone that want's one reach out and let them know, most people aren't on sites like this and will have no idea.
@Grumblevolcano
Being around the business it is mainly lack of hype over big name game exclusives and Xbox in general.
My local has not sold one series s in three weeks
they have plenty of stock.
Series x stock locally have had stock for over one whole week.
Look at game charts not a single Xbox exclusive
Look at advertising on the tv, not a single Xbox exclusive.
Look at London advertising boards and elsewhere last week HFW Sony.
There is just no general public big hype about the Xbox world in general.
Microsoft think they can come big at E3 release 2 good games AAA at Christmas and go on about game pass.
Well when they end up no better than last generation they will have learnt another lesson.
Currently in the UK Xbox has slowed right down, they had a good spell before Christmas but now very quiet and consoles on shelf’s.
Most are Nintendo this or Sony that, because they expose themselves and their games all year round and advertising.
Also just look at 2022 maybe Starfield big AAA November 2022, by then we would have forgotten about Xbox as Nintendo and Sony have big releases through out the year.
@Dezzy70 You're focusing on the smaller picture mate, Xbox care little for console sales, that's not the focus anymore.
Big game adverts are great but 'value' is a top priority for people these days.
All my gaming friends, serious and casual, have an Xbox now. Most had a PS4. Stock wasn't the issue, it was the value.
Admittedly, most of my friends (like myself) are parents. Gamepass offers so much it simply can't be passed up on.
Gamepass numbers are massive and going up. Ultimately (no pun intended) that's all that matters.
By the way don’t get me wrong.
I prefer series x console on the whole
I prefer the Xbox controller
I prefer the game pass method
But it’s games and mainly the big NEW AAA and the hype that sells the consoles.
So I buy and pay full price digitally for Sony games and some Nintendo, and my series x just sits there looking pretty at the moment.
Let’s not forget from a game hype point of view Xbox waited a whole year from release for two FH5and Halo. Now the same pattern for 2022, probably another whole year 2022 for Starfield and let’s hope it’s FH5 good not Halo campaign just good enough for game pass.
@LocalPenguin
With respect you are UK as well.
I’m Greater London UK.
I don’t know outside of this forum one series x or s owner, in my big family group, at work or friends.
Most have switch family and might get PS5
Work mainly PS4 and PS5
Xbox one a couple, no series consoles.
Now it’s a big group of people overall and I can’t believe I don’t personally know one series console owner, apart from me of course and you great peeps on here.
@Dezzy70 Interesting 🤔
Complete opposite for me. Maybe a dozen or so serious gaming friends, only 2 with a PS5.
All have made the jump to Xbox this time around.
Potentially an age thing? I'm 40 next year and my friends are the same pretty much.
When time and money is a rare commodity, Gamepass shines brightest 😄
Finally mine got stolen in transit on Christmas Eve from the well known online store, so bought the S, will use the X as primary console and save the S for the spare room.
Now to work on getting past the horseman on Elden Ring this eve…
@LocalPenguin
For me at the end of the day it’s about what games I want to play, yes I’m a big AAA new games only person.
So whomever has them releasing and the ones I like gets my money I guess.
I could not miss out on a big AAA realise from any three of them. FH5, Halo, BOTW2 , HFW.

New profile photo, to celebrate my Elite 2 controller purchase today.
@Rural-Bandit
Thank you buddy, it’s a really nice controller, got the thumb stick tensions set to their highest tension and feels so tight when moving and aiming etc.
put the triggers on half movement setting seems about right for me with fps shooting etc.
best controller ever owned.
