Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok was announced back in December — a massive expansion for Valhalla featuring around 35 hours of gameplay, and we've now been treated to some footage of said gameplay.
You can check out that footage in the IGN video above, and Xbox has also published a lengthy article on the expansion today, going into detail about the Hugr-Rip - "a mythical bracer that lets Odin steal powers from certain marked enemies", allowing you turn into a raven, disguise yourself as a fire or frost giant, imbue your weapons with ice, and raise defeated enemies from the dead. Sounds pretty cool!
Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok is available to pre-order right now on the Microsoft Store for £32.99 / $39.99 with immediate access to "The Twilight Pack", ahead of its official launch on March 10th.

Ok, This is amazing. So glad i paid the extra money for this DLC. Favorite series ever and the fact that keep expanding such an amazing game is great news for us fans. New powers, weapons and locations. 35 hours of new gameplay??? Count me in on day one! It can't come soon enough!
@OliverOwen yeah this is more content than a lot of full releases. I’ll still wait for a sale since why not but very pleased with the amount of content they’re releasing.
I played through the base game on PS5 awhile ago, had a blast. Sold my physical copy though, but I’m seriously considering to pick up the gold edition digitally on XBSX and play the remaining DLCs.
Not sure if it’s worth it though, but I want to play Dawn of Ragnarok so I figured I might as well get the gold edition.
This is more towards what Immortals was as a base game. Less grounded in reality and more grounded in what would be fun or cool. Looks great.
While this DLC sounds pretty cool, it's literally NOT Assassin's Creed. I just got this game for $13 from GameFly and I really enjoy it. But it's missing that Assassin's Creed feel to it. The protagonist isn't even an assassin, she was gifted the hidden blade.
