CD Projekt Red has pulled back the curtain on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions of Cyberpunk 2077 today, sharing over 30 minutes of footage from the Series X version specifically over on YouTube.
You can check out the new footage above, although keep in mind that Cyberpunk 2077 actually comes with two graphics modes on Series X ("Performance" and "Ray-Tracing"), while Series S only has the one "Performance" option.
With the update, Cyberpunk 2077 takes advantage of the additional power of the newest generation of console hardware, allowing for ray tracing features and 4K with dynamic scaling, faster loading times, and a variety of other visual and technical improvements.
If you don't want to wait around to watch the full 30 minutes, you can download Cyberpunk 2077 for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S right now on your console, with the file size clocking in at around 62GB on Series X.
Anyone can give it a try, too — until March 15th, Xbox is hosting a special free trial version of Cyberpunk 2077 for Series X and Series S that you can play for five hours, with progress carrying over to the full game if you decide to buy it.

The character models look the same as last gen versions
I think my expectations were too high
Honestly going to have to wait to see a breakdown from someone reputable like Digital Foundry or NX Gamer before giving it another go. I don't trust CDPR anymore and there's too many people who will hold a grudge and give it s**t regardless. Fingers crossed it holds up.
Still immediate impressions it looks nothing like those early trailers and the city looks completely empty, where are the civilians or the traffic? One of the most immersive things about all the trailers was the bustling city. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8X2kIfS6fb8
When does it go live. Got sx in corner but it's still last gen
Interested in seeing how it actually plays and a good detailed test is done to compare to the last gen and PC versions.
When in gamepass i might give it a go, only way I'll try it.

Yeah I’m with you, I’ll wait for a detailed breakdown. It still looks very empty to me.
I'm cautiously optimistic but not overly fond of these Hype sessions. An announcement with Gameplay would have sufficed.
I think I’ll be keep my reward points for the GTA V Series X upgrade instead. I’ll definitely try this if it goes on Game Pass though.
CPDR has its work cut out for them after they pissed away all of the goodwill from Witcher 3.
@electrolite77 There was one shot around the 4:20 mark with some very robotic* looking pedestrians but other than that the whole city looked almost deserted. Not sure I ever saw more than 2 other cars on the roads. * robotic is on brand for Cyberpunk amirite? /jk
Looks great. Can't escape the voice acting though, it just doesn't seem to fit very well. Very gloomy for gloomys sake. All f this and f that.
After running through Halo, Ghost of Tsushima, Miles Morales and Horizon 5 all recently.Nah Im gonna give Cyberpunk a miss. If it's on Gamepass I might run a quest if it has one.
That doesn't actually look that good....without side by side I can't even tell the difference from the old version running on XSX. This looks like a Sony "upgrade" for PS5. (I.E. The same as the boosted BC version but now officially "upgraded")
Wow....they really wet the bed with this game.
