Halo Infinite wasn't the only Microsoft title to receive an award at this year's 25th DICE Awards show. It was also joined by Forza Horizon 5, Age of Empires IV and Bethesda's game Deathloop.
Forza took out best racing game - take first ahead of F1 2021 and Hot Wheels Unleashed. Age of Empires IV was awarded the best Strategy / Simulation game of the year - beating Gloomhaven, Griftlands, Incscryption and Loop Hero.
And Deathloop (currently a PlayStation and PC exclusive) received an "outstanding achievement in game design" award. The other nominees in this category included Inscryption, It Takes Two, Loop Hero and Ratchet & Clack: Rift Apart.
Last but not least, It Takes Two won the game of the year award. Phil Spencer also received his lifetime achievement award and delivered a lovely speech.

It was a decent split between MS and Sony taking home the awards. I do feel Psychonauts 2 was unfairly forgotten but on the whole the awards went to the right places. No complaints here
@pip_muzz I am really surprised Psychonauts 2 didn't do better at awards.
It seems EXACTLY the type of game that would sweep loads of awards - the originality, creativity, premise, and also simply the studio behind it.
If anything racing games seem like the kind of games that get taken for granted, even though they're the best
Now release AoE4 on Series X/S!
Well deserved. I like this story much better compared to Halo Infinite story! (these are all great games)
