It's a big Game Pass day today! Five new titles are being added to the service, including the CrossfireX Operation Catalyst campaign. The other four additions are Besiege, Edge of Eternity (available at 2pm GMT), Skul: The Hero Slayer, and The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom.
Here are the new titles you can download today with Xbox Game Pass:
Besiege: Console, Cloud, PC
Besiege is a physics based building game in which you construct medieval siege engines and lay waste to immense fortresses and peaceful hamlets. Build a machine which can crush windmills, wipe out battalions of brave soldiers and transport valuable resources, defending your creation against cannons, archers and whatever else the desperate enemies have at their disposal.
CrossfireX 'Operation Catalyst' Campaign: Console
The legendary franchise comes to Xbox in a fast-paced first-person shooter with modern & classic multiplayer modes and a cinematic campaign that drops you in the middle of a global conflict between the world’s two most formidable private military factions.
In addition to the full free-to-play multiplayer experience, you can also play the single player campaign Operation Catalyst with Xbox Game Pass, developed in partnership with Remedy Entertainment.
Edge of Eternity: Console, Cloud, PC (9AM EST / 2PM GMT)
Wage epic turn-based battles as you follow Daryon and Selene on their quest to find a cure to the all-consuming Corrosion in this grand open world adventure, created by a small team of passionate JRPG lovers!
Skul: The Hero Slayer: Console, Cloud, PC
Skul is a fast-paced action rogue-lite where losing your head is encouraged. Featuring 90 playable characters each with their own unique abilities and a ton of items that can create wild synergies, the battles are as electrifying as they are challenging
The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom: Console, Cloud, PC
Battle hordes of zombies and monsters in The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom, a semi open world action RPG that tells a new story in the post-apocalyptic town of Wakefield. Playing as teen survivors Jack, Quint, June or Dirk, you’ll explore zombie-infested streets on your quest to stop Malondre, a powerful adversary from obtaining the Staff of Doom.

Downloading Crossfire X now. Looks like fun.
I'll likely give most of them a go (if backlog allows!) but Edge of Eternity looks particularly interesting to me...
Yay beseige! I've been looking foward to this.
Is Crossfire really a "legendary franchise"? I'd never heard of it before X was announced.
@PhileasFragg It's THE biggest game franchise in the world. It had 6 million concurrent users in Feb 2020 and 1 billion registered players.
However it's virtually unknown outside Asia.
To put that in perspective Steam's record for ALL games at the same time is 27.94 million concurrent players online, but only 8.2 million were actually in game and not just logged in. It's HUGE and makes COD, GTA, FIFA etc. look tiny
I'm downloading CrossfireX now
Erm, I can’t access the crossfireX campaign? Only the base game of 7.6gb is downloadable.
@themightyant Just goes to show how we'll all be arguing about some game or another being more popular while there's massive titles you never hear about busy raking in billions on mobile or PC.
Campaign nowhere in sight. Just the base game.
@A01 @Roqka @nofriendo We've got a guide about this elsewhere on the site... basically, there's an issue at the moment with downloading the campaign that they're trying to fix.

@FraserG Thank you!
Edge of Eternity is the only one I would try and make time for, but I'm fast running out of time to play everything!
I'm a huge horizon fan, so playing forbidden west is mandatory for me, and with GT7 next month that's not leaving me a lot of time for much else, even if I would like to try Sifu, I'm not going to buy as I don't know if I can find time to play. I'm still not done with Forza yet!
I guess having too much is nice problem to have, and becoming common with all the goodies from GP.
**EDIT** having just seen the 5/10 mini review on 'the other site' I'll skip Edge of eternity and play something I'm likely to enjoy more instead - I really should finish Psyconaughts 2.....
Gamepass is the new wii…….. shovelware with a couple of good ones now & again
Since December Gamepass has been really underwhelming. Nothing this month I’m really interested in either.
I've been playing Edge of eternity for a couple of hours not normally the type of game I'd play but I'm enjoying it.
Downloading CrossfireX for sure!
Still can’t get cross fire campaign.
