Ever fancied taking your Xbox on an adventure but don't know how to protect it? Well, Nanuk has you covered. The manufacturer, which specialises in super sturdy case designs, has created a product for the well travelled Xbox player.
The 'Nanuk 938 for Xbox Series X or S' is a gargantuan case that'll protect everything you need for a spontaneous Xbox session. It contains slots for a Series X or Series S console, two Xbox controllers, and all the cables you'll need for setup. You'll just need to add... err... a TV.
Right, there might not be a slot for a huge ass television, but this thing is sturdy. It's waterproof to IPX7 standard, dustproof to IP6X standard, and it's shockproof so if you drop it, you should be alright.
No, we don't really know why this exists. Yes, we want one. Sadly, this thing is over €500, although it does appear a little cheaper in the US, at a totally reasonable $375. Anyway, if you don't have a solid case for your next trip, you can't say we didn't advise you!
Is this case overkill or do you protect your console at all costs? Let us know below.

These people know XCloud is a thing on phones, right?
People who buy this should be left naked and alone in the wilderness.
This is a bit over the top. I used to take my original Xbox to a friends house with controllers, cables, and games. I did it all in a backpack and the Xbox was much bigger back then. Now, there’s online gaming, only time I ever move my current systems is to dust around and under it. I would never need a carry case for it. Let alone, one for $375.
How much ? For that price I expect someone to carry the carry case for me
This is the kind of case that guy who snowboarded with the Xbox and played in projected on a mountain would have used….. https://www.upi.com/amp/Odd_News/2020/12/16/Xbox-game-projected-on-side-of-mountain-breaks-Guinness-record/3471608154784/
For those questioning the market there are a lot of military members who take their consoles on deployment. TVs are already out here, but shipping the console to and from location is rough. First time ever seeing one of those older cases with a screen and console was during my first deployment. People get bored.
"A totally reasonable $375," in clown world. The thing is more expensive than the Series S.
I'm sure it's plenty sturdy, but it's like those cooler boxes that cost hundreds of pounds. I can get by with mildly warm sandwiches thanks.
Regarding a screen there are some pretty good, and affordable, 1080p portable screens these days. They're, basically, tablets without the computer part and an HDMI input. Of course you'll need power for the whole lot.
@suikoden they would not survive a minute 😂
I just toss my S in between clothes in a suitcase and it’s been golden. Used PS4 for travel last gen like that and it survived all those years.
i mean...cool? but at that price, the purpose is kinda defeated entirely?
