It's been more than a year since Cyberpunk 2077 launched, no really, and it appears the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S port might finally be nearing release. Unique artwork has cropped up for a PS5 version of the game, as shared by Twitter account PlayStation Game Size, which tracks PlayStation Store uploads.
This of course follows the same theme and colour scheme to previous Cyberpunk 2077 artwork, so much so that the yellow background still reminds us of those developer delay updates...
We shouldn't be getting too more of those though. CD Projekt Red had already pinned Q1 2022 as its release period for next gen Cyberpunk, and we're right in the thick of that quarter.
So, it seems like the native Xbox Series X|S version of Cyberpunk 2077 is almost here. Sure, this is just an artwork upload and dates are subject to change, but it's about time, given the gap since the game's Xbox One launch.
Will the next-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 turn the game's fortunes around? Let us know your thoughts below.

I might jump back in when this finally gets its 'next gen' patch and whatever subsequent patches are needed to get that up to standard LOL...
Hopefully. Bought the game recently for like $15 new. Just holding on to it until the update drops.
I just started another play through the game is just plain fun. I am doing a hacker assault build lots of fun. My one worry is with the next gen patch that I will have to start over but hopefully not.
Has it even been confirmed we will even be getting a Smart Delivery upgrade? Or do will it be a new game entirely, aka you are going to have to pay $70 like with CoD and their "next gen bundles"?
@isturbo1984 they said it would be free with purchase of last gen
I was spoiled playing the PS4 version on PS5 @ 60FPS, but I switched to a series S and it only runs at 30FPS. Hopefully the optimized version on S has 60 FPS... or I find a Series X soon...
@Microbius @VisitingComet1 ok nice. thanks you two.
Yes, looking forward to playing through the next-gen version. I played a few hours on XB1 but decided to hold on and play it fully when the updated versions were released.
