We're now just over a week away from the release of Halo Infinite's campaign as part of Xbox Game Pass on December 8th, but some players who have pre-ordered the physical version have seemingly started receiving it early.
Evidence of this has been posted on social media, as you can see below:
Naturally, this means we might need to be on high alert for spoilers over the next week, although it's not yet been confirmed whether the campaign works right now or whether it requires some kind of day one patch to become active.
Halo Infinite's opening cutscene already leaked just over a week ago, so it's inevitable we're going to get a ton of extra leaked footage and story details as we get closer to launch. All we can do is try and avoid it as best as possible!
Have you ordered the physical version of Halo Infinite? Let us know down in the comments below.

I will check it out when it comes to Gamepass.
Thanks for the heads up.
Hopefully they will be locked out until day of release.
Can’t be that hard to do for Microsoft.
Anyone know when the review embargo is up?
Was planning on buying despite having Gamepass. This customization debacle has definitely made sure I won't though.
Between that, the lack of playlist, and the funneling people into dropping $1 at a time on challenge swaps due to not being able to play specific playlist.....
Well suffice it to say they're trying for loot box profits without loot boxed.
@SplooshDmg have you bought trading cards before? That's the real life gacha, and pokemon cards are getting bought in droves
Just saw pre-order copies in Smyths when I was doing a Christmas toy collection run.
@SplooshDmg not facts, but for me, it's all about the prize-for-payment or "addictive" factor. If the loot box is deemed "too addictive", it becomes a problem, since kids and compulsive buyers won't be able to contain themselves into spending too much for just a rare item.
@Savage_Joe You know what I can do with Pokémon cards though? Sell them.
Can't do that in Halo.
AFAIK only Steam has a similar function.
@SplooshDmg
Tell me about it. What's worse is how half of the games make you sit through an opening animation in an attempt to Pavlov consumers. And yep. Gacha is short for gachapon/gashapon.
Pretty much just fancy coinop machines that vend a random prize.
@InterceptorAlpha you "can" sell accounts of games with all of those rare items. People always find ways to capitalize those things
@Savage_Joe False equivalency.
I can buy Pokémon cards and sell a single card if I want.
If I were to sell my profile I'd have to give up everything I own.
I thought the game was time-locked for release?
Or does that only apply to the digital version?
