You may have noticed yesterday afternoon that a bunch of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy footage dropped on YouTube, and it includes a lot of gameplay from the Xbox Series X version of the game.
Above, we've picked out GameSpot's coverage of the first 30 minutes, which includes a pretty cool intro with a rocking soundtrack and various Disney references, before it eventually jumps into some proper gameplay in the official first chapter, giving us a good idea of the game's narrative style and combat elements.
We haven't had a chance to get hands-on yet here at Pure Xbox, but we've got a good feeling about this footage. It looks like the game is shaping up well, which is no surprise considering it's made by the Deus Ex team.
If you're excited for the release, you only need to wait a little bit longer as the game will be launching for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on October 26. Pre-orders are available now from the Microsoft Store for £59.99 / $59.99.
"Fire up Star-Lord’s jet boots for a wild ride across the cosmos in this third-person action-adventure game, a fresh take on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. With the unpredictable Guardians at your side, blast your way from one explosive situation to another, with original and iconic Marvel characters caught in a struggle for the fate of the universe. You got this. Probably."

I'm so ready for next week my fall gaming rush starts then
After The Avengers, I'm waiting for reviews before I buy this.
Agreed, Avengers put me off this title, thought it was the same Devs, same gameplay mechanic, etc. Glad to hear it's not!
But Deux Ex team? Wow, great news ! It would nearly make you feel like pre ordering it lol
