Forza Horizon 5 Has A 'Premium Add-Ons Bundle' Targeted At Xbox Game Pass Members

I will and I did. Bought ultimate for Horizon 3 & 4 so this time I saved a bit of money.

Great, so I can buy the game later in a sale so I don't loose it when it gets delisted in a couple years and have still all benefits =)

Lovely. Now I can pay up front for a bunch of expansions and cars that haven't been made yet!

I'll probably do what I did for FH4 and buy the big addon pack after the stuff has all come out, and its on a 50% sale.

Excited I can play next Friday and get a whole weekend in before the official release. The DLC for 4 was amazing and I preordered the bundle last month. I think it's great what game pass is doing for the longevity of games and how they handle DLC. 1 MORE WEEK

Got mine a while back, would have got the expansion pass anyway but early access sold it for me.

I go on holiday release day so at least I can play before then. Got Friday off work and am just hoping it's not a 6pm release like a lot of recent games

It’s great that GP owners can not only get all the add-ons in this bundle, but also play it 4 days early. As others have said, you can always buy the game (to own) at a later date when it’s reduced. Great deal!
PS Anyone know if predownloads have started yet, or when they do?

Could just put the ultimate edition on gamepass instead of standard edition ...

@FraserG Any idea if this will give you the punch card? Or do you have to buy the actual game?

I guess the only catch would be if you ever decide to drop Game Pass you would then have to buy the base game to continue playing. I wish they would have had this option when I pre-ordered the game.

Nice. This is similar to the Minecraft: Dungeons Ultimate DLC upgrade which similarly gives all the DLC but not the main game as it is on Game Pass.

This is what I did with 4. I will purchase the base game before it's discontinued (next September, it seems).

I (XSX) do homesharing with my little son (XSS) and we enjoy playing racing games. When playing Gamepass games online multimplayer works fabulous. But if one of us buys a game (happened with f1 2021) multiplayer stops working and then we both need to buy that game to play online. So do you think buying the FH5 DLC could destroy our online experience like that until we both buy the dlc or do you think it will keep on working?

@SplooshDmg Yeah, sadly they didn't do that with Forza 5, but it still works if you got a physical copy. I guess the same could be said about this, luckily they still sell physicals copies and if you got the DLC you will have all the content.

Yea. Their car roster has been disappointing. Volkswagen as an example hasn't gotten any new cars in like the last 3 or 4 releases.

They keep wanting to add more exotic cars instead of "everybody" cars, which I'm more interested in.

If they had a list of what would be included then maybe. But not jumping in on blind cars I most likely have no interest in.

@iplaygamesnstuff Guess haven't learned yet. Never preorder games. So many issues can happen.

@Lupaie79 what I do with my wife is I have her XSX set up as my home console and then play my stuff on my XSX which is my secondary console.

As she plays on my primary console she gets all the benefits of Game Pass Ultimate and any DLC I downloaded. She had her own account but does not have have any of her own subscriptions.

It works pretty well for sharing my purchases and account privileges with her.

@ParsnipHero thats what I do to but bought games cant be played online within this system. Yet the same game but on Gamepass does work.

@Lupaie79 I’m not entirely sure what you’re doing differently. I use this technique to play Minecraft: Dungeons with my wife who doesn’t have Game Pass or Gold.

I think I downloaded it on her console (my home console).

@ParsnipHero on her side she uses your bought license. You use the gp license. Have you tried it with a non gp game?

But your right. The dungeons dlc works on my sons side too. So with fh5 it should work fine

I really not interested in add ons more cars etc. Just give me the game to play and I’ll play and move onto the next thing.

We always get the Premium edition. My son, now 12, just eats these games up. So I went ahead and preordered like usual using Rewards credits. And then this Premium DLC pack happened! I was pretty psyched. Canceling the preorder was easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy. I got my Rewards credits back and turned it into the Premium Add Ons bundle. Saved myself over half. Great deal.

@SacredPYRO If you're in Europe, changing your xboxs location in the settings to new zealand should allow you to play about 12 hours before your timezone release date.

@GuyinPA75 to the contrary, and I get your point. The very few launch bugs aren't holding me back from playing what I believe is the best game of the year. I am 100% happy with my pre-order purchase. I'm sure my pre-order for Forza Horizon 5 is worth every penny as well.
