Left 4 Dead spiritual successor Back 4 Blood has proved highly popular ever since it launched on Xbox Game Pass earlier this month, with the game now celebrating over six million players across all platforms.
The impressive achievement was shared by the Back 4 Blood team on Twitter earlier this week:
Back 4 Blood has consistently been sitting amongst the most popular Xbox and Game Pass titles over the past few weeks, so its success is no surprise, but it's great to see the game thriving nonetheless.
In our review, we called Back 4 Blood "a worthy spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead", highlighting its well-designed Campaign mode and impressive new features such as its strategic Card system.
If you haven't given it a try yet, we highly recommend it!

Interesting to see the numbers per platform, let's just say 2 million are on playstation so that's 4 million on gamepass out of 30 million subscribers?
I'm having so much fun with this game. Had a blast so far playing co-op with friends and randoms alike.
I guess Game Pass makes sales numbers a bit skewed now, but I always take these "Number of Players" figures with a pinch of salt. I mean, I assume they count players that try it once on Game Pass and never touch it again, and folk like me who had no intention of actually playing it other than for the Rewards Punch Card and Monthly Quest points.
On that note, I'd like to apologise to the players I was on with the other day - I was playing via cloud on my (non gaming) PC and I've since noticed my controller is actually drifting on the right stick and also the right trigger sticks. With that and the cloud lag I was truly awful! Despite that I might actually give the game a proper try at some point as it seemed alright.
