If you haven't played Deliver Us The Moon yet you absolutely need to before it leaves. It's not a long game either (I think it took me 5-7 hours or so to finish it) so you can easily beat it within the next two weeks.
@LtSarge Tempted to try this before it goes, do you remember if it runs at 30fps or 60fps? Will be playing on Series X though using the One X enhanced code. Currently loving Prey so am up for some more space based adventures!
@Spaceman-Spiff No idea what the fps is on the One X version but I played it on my base Xbox One and it ran well at 30 fps if I remember correctly.
Cheers for the heads up! Deliver us the moon is next on my play list then!
Will give it go if it's that short, I do like outer space stuff, surprised I never noticed this one before. Cheers.
I enjoyed playing Deliver Us the Moon! Definitely a quick play.. Wargroove is the only one I haven’t tried but I’m not in a rush since I own it on Switch.
Another vote for Deliver Us the Moon.
Really enjoyable immersive short experience.
Also Gato Roboto, (a cat in a robot mini metroidvania) was another fun short game.
@FraserG did you see MLB the Show 21 is coming to gamepass?? I just saw this.
Deliver Us the Moon is next up for me as well then!
Also, if you enjoy Metroid, definitely give Gato Roboto a go. It's only 3-5 hours, and is absolutely worthy of your time.
I guess it's time to play this Moon game then!
Ah come on! Now i gotta start deliver us the moon. Messing with my gaming schedule folks...my gaming time is very limited. Had it on my play later list for a while so here we go
Didn't even know much about Deliver us to the Moon. I'll have to try it out. Wargroove is a great Advance Wars clone. I already had it on the Switch, so no loss for me.
+1 for Deliver Us the Moon. Really like this game and will probably buy it once it gets the XSX patch. Play it people!
Argh ! Delivers Us The Moon is on my "to-do-list" since an eternity ! I always assumed that I would have some time to play it later...
Well, now seems the perfect time for it, then ! I'm definitely starting it tonight !
@Spaceman-Spiff I started Deliver Us the Moon today, it's either 4K30 or 1080p60.
I started playing Deliver Us the Moon and it is very good. I'll make sure I finish it before it leaves. Bummer we are losing old sports games that 0.0001% of people would play lol!
What's with the EA Play games leaving.... does EA Play reduce the games in its service regularly as well or are they just taking them off of the Gamepass offerings?
@Trmn8r I'll have you know that madden 25 is NOT old! It's from the future actually
@BlueOcean @Spaceman-Spiff Yeah, it's being upgraded this year for next-gen. But obviously, will be off Gamepass by then. It still looks really good and the framerate isn't a big deal given that it isn't a fast-action game.
@Krzzystuff Hah! Indeed. Well, you must be the 0.0001% as no one else cares that these old iterations are leaving at all.
@Trmn8r
Easy achievements all the old maddens can net you a hand full of achievements scores for literally doing nothing but siming games
@TrueAssassin86x So, nothing meaningful lost then lol
@Carck They were probably done with spending money to maintain servers for games no one is playing.
Both Deliver Us The Moon and Gato Roboto are excellent. They also are relatively short.
Glad I finished Deliver Us The Moon when I did.
Hmm. I have to admit I (almost) never played any of the old sports titles but I liked them being there tbh.
A lot of talk about game preservation lately and this is another blight against that
@Carck They don't want to mess with FIFA players. Those guys are crazy
If anyone was ever a fan of Advance Wars back on the GBA, you owe it to yourself to get Wargroove. Captures the gameplay and feel near perfectly.
So, I have little interest even in the latest iterations of Madden or NHL, and even less interest in the old ones. But what concerns me is that I thought EA had a policy of not removing old games from EA Play... I know there's been a couple of exceptions in the past but they've always made a big deal of explaining why. Now it seems to be just happening casually without any need for justifying it... have they had a change of policy? If so, which other games on EA Play might be next?
I just finished Deliver Us the Moon and it was only okay in my opinion - nothing really special about it. I wouldn't worry too much if you miss your chance to play it. There are many other games out there more deserving of your time.
Just finished Deliver Us the Moon myself, and really enjoyed it! A little more than your standard walking simulator. Engaging story. Off this week, could give it the time…
