Update: Microsoft has now confirmed that the following titles will leave on April 30, rather than May 1.
Original story: Microsoft has unveiled the next set of six games that will be removed from Xbox Game Pass in the early part of May 2021, with the most notable of the bunch arguably being the popular 2020 party game, Moving Out.
Here's the full list of games currently set to leave on (or around) May 1:
Date | Game | Platform |
---|---|---|
April 30 | Endless Legend | PC |
April 30 | Fractured Minds | Console, Cloud |
April 30 | For The King | Console, PC, Cloud |
April 30 | Levelhead | Console, PC, Cloud |
April 30 | Moving Out | Console, PC, Cloud |
April 30 | Thumper | PC |
As always, Xbox Game Pass members can get a discount of 20% on these titles before they're removed.

I was disappointed with the lack of online multiplayer on Moving Out. Overcooked with your friends was hilarious, and then we tried Moving Out and couldn't play it.
Whew, nothing I'll miss so it's all good.
Nothing of Value lost for me. I'm surprised Nier Automata aint on this list. My last shows Nier Automata being on gamepass for over a year now
@TuckNorris85
So you don't have any friends offline? because moving out is a couch co-op game you know what everyone and everybodies mom been baging for lately it seems like
@TrueAssassin86x couch co-op is fine when you are actually allowed people in your house. Covid rules don't allow folk in to others houses yet (here in the UK at least) so online multiplayer is the only way to play with others outside of your own family.
I'm a little sad to see For the King and Moving Out go, as they were pretty fun couch co-op games. For the King in particular is worth checking out, but it's a little rough around the edges, and while playing it I found myself wishing for a polished-up D&D / TSR game with similar gameplay.
@TrueAssassin86x unfortunately cannot at the moment due to Covid-19. I'm a front line worker so last thing I would want to do is put my mates at risk.
Thumper is pretty fun, albeit extremely difficult. I can't recommend trusting your save files on the PC Xbox app, but it might be worth a bit of a go before it leaves the service if you're into rhythm games.
Fractured minds is a really short (an hour or two) BAFTA award winning game about Mental Illness made by one 17 year old. Very simple but effective and, worth a quick play for anyone interested.
@themightyant — seconded! Also, a really easy 1000G!
Only had an Xbox for a couple of months, and my two boys are OBSESSED with Levelhead, they were really disappointed this morning when I told them it was leaving!
@TrueAssassin86x I'm surprised as well, putting off on playing it everyday until it inevitably leaves and I'm gonna have to put a whole weekend into the game
@antonvaltaz You could just buy it...
