It Takes Two launches in a little over a month on March 26th for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The latest trailer gives us our most in-depth look at the game yet, all while being narrated by the controversial game creator, Josef Fares.
Following the story of a girl’s parents who are going through a divorce, the daughter creates an imaginary, light-hearted story which pushes players through various gameplay styles, attempting to rekindle their love. Side-scrolling platforming, on-rails shooting, and even Diablo style hack-and-slash gameplay can all be seen in the trailer.
“From rampaging vacuum cleaners to suave love gurus – with It Takes Two, you never know what you’re up against next. Filled with genre-bending challenges and new character abilities to master in every level, you’ll experience a metaphorical merging of gameplay and narrative that pushes the boundaries of interactive storytelling.”
To accompany you on the adventure, you’ll need a friend, and It Takes Two offers a free Friend's Pass to bring someone along. Much like A Way Out, only one person needs to purchase the game for two players to share the experience and enjoy. We are really looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

This actually looks fantastic, and unique. Nice surprise. If its executed well it could be a really great game.
Dragged down being attached to Fares... I actually feel sorry for the development team being associated with that knob.
