Wales Interactive has today announced the latest in its line of live-action adventure games, this time in the form of psychological thriller I Saw Black Clouds, set to arrive on Xbox beginning Q1 2021.
The game features supernatural elements and branching storylines, and how you connect with the characters and moral choices you make will affect what you discover, the journey you take, and the resolution.
I Saw Black Clouds, which comes from the team behind The Complex, Five Dates and Maid of Sker, will be arriving first on Xbox One at some point over the next couple of months, before later heading to Xbox Series X (date tbc).
After the unexpected death of a close friend, Kristina returns to her hometown looking for answers, only to unearth a string of dark secrets. The truth turns out to be far more harrowing than she could have imagined…

Sometimes i dont understand the videogame release cycle. Why are games like this and the medium and resident evil always released around the beginning of the year. When they would be better released around Halloween time?
I know heavy hitters launch around Halloween - Christmas but why not move them up between Spring and Summer...
I’ll check it out if it comes to Game Pass - just played through Erica on iOS the other day, and it was easily one of, if not, the best FMV game I’ve ever played - though to be fair I haven’t actually played very many. This shows promise, but honestly it’s pretty unlikely I’d spend any money on it (outside of a GP subscription).
@Gaming365247 that is an excellent point. I picked up Resi 2 and 3 around Halloween so it would make sense
